Nice clean place to stay over for the night but the beds leave something to be desired 😞 tried both single and double the single had no support at all and the double a little better with mattress topper but still not great.
Food on the night of the party was lovely. Buffet style,nice choice.

Fantastic food, clean rooms and service is superb! I highly recommend this place. I stayed there many times with business trips and will always return when I am in the area.
Nice village location and plenty of seating. We popped in for lunch which was reasonably priced and filling.
Somewhere we'll be going again.
Myself and my wife had a Two Night stay at the village inn 26th/27th March we would recommend staying there to all of our friends and family lovely place...
So glad I found this place, the family room was perfect for us all.
The food was delicious and staff were excellent.

Sunday lunch at the Village is wonderful.
We travel up from Huddersfield while our friends travel down from Marske, we meet up, chat and eat. The food never disappoints. Ever.
Portions are generous and the quality of the meat and the veg is second to none.

We book the small private function room and afternoon tea for my daughters Baby Shower. It was the perfect size, I was able to get into the room and decorate before the event which was fabulous. The afternoon tea was absolutely beautiful, very well presented and excellent value for money.

We stayed at the Village Inn on Saturday November 26th 2022 and had a great time. The room was comfortable and the food was great. Staff in the bar on Saturday evening were super helpful. The food was great and very reasonably priced. Dropping one star only because the toilet seat is broken in room

We stopped over at the Village Inn on our way to and back from Scotland. The rooms are good and have tv, tea making facilities and comfortable beds. The rooms were very clean. Because the rooms are terraced outside they are covid friendly which was very important to us. We had breakfast and dinn

We stayed in the village inn at the weekend we were in Yorkshire for a wedding and we had 2 separate nights and were well looked after as usual! We 11 of us ate there on Friday night and everyone said their meal was excellent and good value for money and we'll done yet again all of you
We had food here several nights in August. Wide range of choice, good value, friendly staff, veggie and vegan options. Outside looks unpromising but inside has been recently done up. Great local beer. Happy to recommend
