A really great place. The owner provided exceptional service in this intimate dining room. The interior is decorated cleanly with impressionistic paintings on the walls while soft but fitting music plays as you relax and ready yourself for the meal.

This was a surprising delicious meal we had while on holiday along the Yorkshire coast. My first thought was that the name ‘Restaurant 20’ was pretentious, but the dining experience was the opposite- a candlelit living room turned dining room. This was a perfect cozy meal between friends.

Absolutely superb meal last night. From the moment we walked through the door the evening was spot on. We were made to feel incredibly welcome. Excellent wine list to choose from, menu changes frequently and what was on offer was absolutely stunning quality ingredients cooked and presented perfectly
What a find! This hidden gem is a true treat experience: wonderful ambiance, expert wine selection and warm, friendly hosting. The cuisine is second to none - unbelievably fresh and cooked to utter perfection.

Recently opened by the family that used to run the Fox and Hounds at Goldsbrough and if you knew them there rest assured the food is just as good here. It is a small cosy restaurant with an open kitchen, a small food menu of about four choices on each course and a reasonable drinks menu.

It's a very good restaurant. A bit pricey but worth it. Book well in advance, they are not well known yet and only open when the numbers are sufficient.
