We ordered from the lunch time menu & the food looked lovely, well presented. I had the ploughman's platter & could not fault it however my husband ordered the lightly battered fish platter which unfortunately was heavily battered, over cooked & greasy which was a real shame otherwise would have be
Old fashioned family friendly pub glad still some around. Can recommend fish and chips look forward to them and a prosseco on a Friday after ballroom dancing class
Country pub with ambience, Free house and good food.
Fish and chips are excellent, and Gluten free for Coeliac diners are cooked separately on request.

Beautiful home cooked food and lovely Sunday carvery. Worth a visit with children, family and friends.
Have been there this evening and the food was delicious and the staff couldn't do enough.
The staff are very friendly the fish and chips on Friday night are very nice.
