Nice pub with American style music. We ordered ribs today and were good but a bit of fat in it. Dinner for 2 cost us £45 with drinks so really good price. No empty tables at 3pm. After arriving at the restaurant, the staff told us to wait on the side because there were no table but after about 25 minutes we had to remind ourselves for a table because the two couples who came after us got tables right away. My overall rating is 4 out of 5

Absolutely Scrum-diddily-umptious!!!! My husband suggested we visited Porkys after realising that our original planned restaurant was only serving Sunday dinners instead of their usual menu, which is not what we fancied! All I can say is that I can’t believe I haven’t visited here sooner. All of the staff were so friendly and we were looked after from the moment we walked in. We were told what items were no longer available to order, which was fine considering the menu choice was rather extensive! So much so, we took a lot longer than usual to decide what we wanted! Highly recommend the Sharing nachos with Brisket. We asked for the guacamole / sour cream on the side as my husband isn’t a fan but I am, which was accommodated. The mains were also delicious. I went for a smash burger with fries and my partner went for a stack of meats which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The white wine I had was also really good! As I find that some restaurants that serve such great food have terrible tasting wine! So this was an additional bonus. My only criticisms are that we waited almost 40 minutes for our mains to arrive after our starter - which I do believe had been missed / forgotten about. We had to ask the awkward ‘how long will our food be’, which is the first time we have done that in a restaurant before, so we don’t quite know what happened there. The only other criticism I had was that the coleslaw on the side of my burger was pitiful in size, so much so, we both made a comment on it as it might as well not have been on the plate… but tasted fantastic nonetheless! The staff clearly work very hard to keep things ticking over and the chefs are also clearly very talented at what they do. We will most definitely return and we highly recommend!

Had a few meals here - pizza, steak and Sunday lunch. Can't fault it - nothing fancy just good honest food. The staff are lovely and the place is decorated with industrial chic. The espresso martini is the best for miles Update - went tonight for the pig out special. A selected drink, selected main and side for £9. You can pay supplements to upgrade your meal. I was not really impressed as the quality of the food was not great. But for the price - what can you expect?? Hopefully it will be better next time 🙂

Great family dining experience, great menu, too much to choose from so will definitely be back to try something new!

Food was delicious I had the ribs with maple bacon fries my husband had the meat platter with the pork and beef. The portions were very generous we were both stuffed. I had a cherry vanilla hardshake which was to die for. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely be returning.
