Fantastic experience today. Went with the wife for the first time and had the meat sharing platter with dirty fries and it was utterly outstanding. Every single part of the meal was delicious. I'll start with the steak which was perfectly cooked and rested. Juicy and packed full of flavour as we're the skewers. The buttermilk chicken goujons were equally as amazing. Succulent and crispy. The chicken wings were barbecuey and massive. That chicken must have been hitting the gym for sure! Coleslaw and dirty fries were great but couldn't finish it. 10 out of 10. Service was great so thanks to all the staff. Oh, perfect pint of guinness as well!
Visited for the first time and absolutely loved it. Table service for ordering and although there were a few people who had ordered food, the food came out the kitchen in speedy fashion. Considering it was a Wednesday evening, there were a few people dotted around which is always a good sign!
Be mindful - kitchen staff can apparently finish around 8-8:30, so time your visit carefully to avoid disappointment.
We had a burger each and my husband ordered a side of dirty fries…. Totally underestimating the size of them haha! But we certainly gave it our all to eat everything as it was so delicious!
Ps - please consider doing onion rings as a side 😂🤤🤤
Highly recommend and will definitely return
The food was tasty and the portions were huge.
The atmosphere and the interior is nice.
The service needs massive improvement.
Been here a few times, the food is always amazing, the only downside is the speed of service.
Great beers and great food, perfect location and views.
This place is excellent.
Extremely reasonable prices for the food and the drinks.
Good selection of drinks and a good variety on the food menu (pizzas, flat bread kebabs, pub classics and sharing platters)
We had -
Pizza - very good
Fish and chips - outstanding
Meat platter sharing board - outstanding.
Staff, really friendly.
Definitely worth a visit, and a return visit.
Fab addition to the fish quay! Wonderful place with lovely decor. The menu had a great selection and the food was delicious.
Only downside was that the staff seemed quite strained so the service was let down but would love to go back again!
Went for lunch with family. Lovely setting 🥰. Food was ok. More than half menu was sold out but I reckon that's our fault that didn't went earlier. Prices are ok. There was an issue with my daughter's food(hair )that was repaired without us complaining. Got a refund without a fuss or anything. Lovely place. Worth the money
Really really good here! We had the meat sharer as recommended by a friend. £30 - huge - loads of meat: pulled pork, steak, lamb kebabs, butter chicken & chicken wings- all cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!
Food was delicious, had cod n chips, very very nice, couldnt quite finish it as the dish was plentiful.
Nice peaceful n chilled atmosphere.
The staff were very pleasant n service was very good
ACTUALLY REALLY NICE!
When you walk in, there's a very retro naval theme going on throughout. And the decor is pretty retro nautical themed, which is totally different to the places I usually visit.
Dined with a bunch of friends, the food was AMAZING! Really different compared to the other places out there. The best part is that they serve REAL portions of food, none of this "fine dining sliver of anything", the plates are MASSIVE which means that you get great value for money.
Price: it's not the cheapest place, especially the drinks - but you get value because of the size of the portions!
Definitely recommended if you're around there and you want some food.
Perfect lunch stop off during a walk along the quayside, food was lovely, staff were great, very reasonably priced, will be back! (Without the kids and to try a couple of the cocktails)
Cool decor and immaculately clean. Staff helpful and happy to amend food order from their menu to suit our desires. Food was filling and good value. A good selection of beers on keg and in the fridge including Almasty on keg which is a great local brewery and other decent breweries like Tiny Rebel and Beavertown. I'd like to see some cask but it's probably not that sort of venue really. Quite a lot of the tables were booked on our visit (we hadn't) but might be worth considering booking ahead if you know you want to go there. Also note the fat cut chips are VERY fat, check out my photo. I'd definitely be happy to revisit for food.
Called in for a coffee and a afternoon sandwich with chips after being recommended. First visit and we were not disappointed. The food and ambiance were very good and the staff are friendly polite and professional. The place is spotless. Includes the doggy bag we took home as too much for us to eat.
We reserved a table and it was ready for us when we arrived.
The staff are very friendly and see to your every need.
Our food arrived quickly and all four of us said how good it was.
They also have Guinness which is an extra bonus.
The place itself was nice & clean and looked great with the decorations and high ceiling.
The prices were also good & we would definitely recommend it to friends.
First time visiting and the food and service was great. Lovely location and an interesting building.

Fab pub grub here the menu is wicked. Plenty draught options and cocktails too, blue.moon and club tropicana 5*.
I went for the Duo Kebab (lamb and chicken) and it was absolutely huge 👌 full of flavour and left me unable to move haha. Served with fries, garlic dip and hot sauce mmm . £18/19
Along side that was the brisket burger which was pretty decent ! Lush brisket and the fries (just being fries) were actually really tasty so overall a solid 8.5/10. £13/14
