A rainy July day meant there were seats a-plenty. The young barmaid/waitress was extremely polite, helpful, and thorough. A credit. The food was good, especially the fish and chips. The pizza was a bit basic. It seemed like there was the tomato base, some regular cheese, and a few pieces of pepperoni. That said, I did eat it all. Less than £40 to fill the bellies of 4 people was excellent value.

Food was amazing , staff were lovely- kindly offered to keep my hubby’s food under the warming lamps while he was walking along the beach. Loved our dishes - very tasty.

A nice dog friendly pub, service good and, even though I haven't had food there, the menu and what I seen other people eating, looked good. Fast friendly bar service.

Found this little gem whilst put with a friend, we popped in for food and boy we were not disappointed. We ordered scampi and chips. The portions were huge and delicious. Great bar and very reasonably priced.

We enjoyed a lovely salad at The Priory before we had to walk along seafront to Whitley Bay. Throughly enjoyed our afternoon stroll.
