Came here today as we are staying at a hotel nearby, the food was exceptional. My wife had a vegetarian breakfast and she loved it. I had a full English and it was all cooked to perfection. The tea kept getting topped up without even asking and my latte was really nice. We had some cakes to takeaway and they were simply amazing.
The ladies provided an exceptional service and we will certainly be back

This restaurant has it all. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The staff is amazing, and the interior is just beautiful.

We ordered the full English breakfast and it was delicious, all the products used were of the best quality and really well cooked.
We were offered as much freshly made tea as we wanted, the bread for the toast was homemade and tasted great.
The cafe was very busy but we were still given excellent customer service.
Lovely little place! We had the bacon and sausage sandwichs/rolls between us and took some cake away afterwards. All really nice! The owner and lady helping were so friendly and clearly passionate about the place, plus very friendly with regular customers.

This is a great coffee shop! Staff are friendly, the food's tasty, wide range of yummy cakes on offer. You need to pre-book for Sunday Roasts. Will definitely be visiting again soon!
Absolutely lovely little café in North Petherton. I took my mum and sister. We had cakes and milkshakes and we absolutely loved it. This is a brilliant cafe to sit out the back of and enjoy great homemade cake and a refreshing drink, especially in today's heat.
I am very impressed by the value for money and the staff are wonderful! If you are looking for a quiet drink and a bite to eat, I can very easily recommend A Slice of Happiness!
I visited North Pertherton in September 22 to see my Granddaughter, Daughter and Son in law all the way from South Dakota, USA. I absolutely loved the breakfast!!!! I hadn't had a proper English breakfast in over 20 years. It exceeded all of my expectations!! I'll be seeing you folks again on my next visit for sure!!
Had a lovely breakfast/brunch here on Sunday. Owner was very friendly and had great customer service. We were slightly awkward customers as we need a high chair and space for pram but we were brilliantly accommodated. Food was delicious and good value for money. Would recommend!
Roast Dinners. Omg not to be missed, 1st time today had 2 roast dinners to take away (you can sit in too). They are Fabulous, good portions, we had the beef and Turkey we were amazed at the quality everything was 10 out of 10, staff are very nice too even helped me to carry out to car. Service 10 out of 10. Highly recommended and I shall definitely be back to sit in and try your puddings too. Well done and thankyou to you All xx
Lovely cafe with cakes to die for, a huge selection and very fresh. Massive pot of tea for 4 , plus topped up. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
"A Slice of Happiness" is exactly that, it beams happiness from the owner, staff and most of the cake. Well done.
If you fancy your nans famous home cooked roast but can't visit her then this is the place to come. Such a homely feel, staff are amazingly friendly and the food is delicious. Portion sizes are very generous and the staff even asked if we wanted more which was very nice of them. We sat outside for our roast in the sun, the garden is a bit on the small side but very well decorated and laid out, perfect for a sunny sunday lunch. The puddings are also next level delicious, all made fresh in the cafe. Will definitely be coming here again!

It is so cute inside, a lot of effort has been put into making the shop warm, friendly and inviting.
We stopped in for coffee, a tea cake and to take some cake home.
Service was great, the cake was lovely, definitely freshly made... The only reason it's not quite 5 star is simply because the coffee is out of a machine and you can really tell. It was pretty much milk. No Biggie, but my husband and I are proper coffee snobs so this was a bit of a shame for us.
Definitely recommend you go in to try everything else though and support another lovely local business in North Petherton.

Delicious bacon roll with hot coffee. And excellent and friendly service, despite the strange restrictions imposed on small businesses currently. This little cafe is a real gem in the community with first class homely food and drink. Highly recommended.
Has to be best breakfasts in Somerset I’ve ever had , everything was just perfect. Will definitely be back again .
