Great place to stop off on long journey home as did not want to go to motorway service for a change. We thought as it was near the canal we could cool the dog off and enjoy the surroundings. Lovely spot and although the tearoom was very busy we did luckily get some nice food.

We used the toilets. The food looked tempting but we had our own picnic. Nice stop for walkers along the canal.

We both thoroughly loved it here, the staff was all very pleasant and the place itself was in a great position by the canal. There's a carpark close to this quiet out of the way tearoom, plenty of people come here and it can get rather busy. We had the soup and a piece of cake ( raspberry ripple, mmm) and it was really nice and some thought went into the meal. We'll definitely be popping in again when we come through.😁👍

Lovely place to stop for lunch and even though today was in the 30's there were tables outside with shade for us to choose from. Food was lovely, staff very friendly and their Covid-19 procedures were very clear and it all worked very well. Also the added bonus of being part of the Eat Out to Help Out offer that we weren't previously aware of made the lunch even more enjoyable! Will definitely be back and on a cooler day we will take a walk along the canal :-)

What could be better. A warm sunny day, sat beside a beautiful canal with a fine lady and eating some excellent food. We will be back.

Lively little spot. Found a shaded table and watched the world go by. Lovely 'planet' walks either side of the cafe, with small sculptures identifying each planet. Gorgeous ice-cream at the tea rooms, friendly staff. A lovely place to while away an hour.

Met a small group of friends for a lovely lunch. Then a walk along the towpath in the Bridgwater direction before returning for ice creams and cold drinks.

A nice friendly cafe with a decent choice of food at reasonable prices, and perfectly positioned right next to the lock and a large shady and free car park..

After walking along tha Bridgwater & Taunton canal from Taunton. I decided to stop at Maunsel Lock Tearooms and enjoy a nice latte. It was the perfect day to be sat outside listening to the birds and enjoying the peace. Coffee was great too!

Rather a splendid and relaxed out of the way tea shop. A friend and I had decided to canoe along the canal and discovered this place by pure chance. We had a superb coffee served by attentive staff. 1st class stopover.
