Excellent service, friendly staff, good selection of drinks and great atmosphere. Was lovely to sit outside in the warm weather and enjoy a pint of Moretti. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.
Been taken over in the last year by louise and John . The pub is having a much needed up date but is still keeping the charm of the place . New beers on tap and food now up and running 😃

Really friendly owner, the place has an immediate welcoming charm about it. Low beams, thick walls ..... awaiting a kitchen refurb so food available in about a month. Recommend a visit.
Well they say you can’t judge a book by its cover and I would say that if your first and only impressions of this pub are anything but quality you have missed out. Having now visited several times our expectations have been raised on each occasion.

Great table service. Managed to get a table straight away. The lady that served us was very friendly. It was very busy which was nice to see..weather was also on out side. Great after a long walk. Plenty of parking too..
Always a great atmosphere, owner and staff go above and beyond. I take my clients in who unfortunately suffer with dementia and the locals and staff do all they can to make us feel welcome. Food is super and freshly cooked, proper home cooked chips yum.
Very nice Sunday lunch, first time back since lock down. Ate in the new covered area at the back, so felt safer in the open air, though protected from a shower. Service as good as always.
Such a great pub with the nicest owners I’ve ever met in pubs. Lovely vibe at all times of the year, Christmas, Easter and summer. Villagers live to visit on sundays and the children play outside on the green. The house beers are always beautiful. Villagers prefer to visit the Tiger Inn over the Gnu
A warm welcome by John, the landlord. This is my idea of a proper village pub. Although we didn't eat on this occasion the food looked very appetising. Will be back.
