Poltimore Inn - North Molton - Photo album

We went for a meal on a Tuesday evening in October, the pub (Inn) was nicely busy with a mix of locals and tourists. The atmosphere was lovely, very warm welcome from the lady serving behind the bar. The food was delicious, well prepared, especially the homemade pumpkin soup, and the Prawn linguine.
WOW! What a place. We went there for a telescope course and found a fantastic pub! Food was great, waitresses were attentive and service was brilliant. Observatory is fabulous and we saw such a lot, lucky to catch a clear sky. Definitely will be back and recommend.
It was extremely busy when I visited here (the restaurant, bar & garden were full) and there were only 3 members of staff working but they were fantastic. I don't know how they managed to accommodate and serve so many customers so quickly. Extremely efficient, professional and friendly. I had the
Pleasant pub situated in a typical small and picturesque Devon village just outside Exmoor. The interior is a little sterile but I guess that makes a change from the usual village pub chintz. I liked the restaurant with the views across the rolling countryside. Others in my party didn't. The food wa
I stayed with friend's at The Poltimore Inn during the last bank holiday weekend in May whilst there for a friend's wedding festivities. Debbie and her staff did a fab job hosting us and many other's for the long weekend. The wedding reception was held at the hotel and it all went smoothly and reall
Just had a few nights away in North Devon and cannot rate the Poltimore Inn highly enough. Friendly attentive staff and fabulous food and clean rooms with fantastic views. The poached eggs were so good that I had them every morning!
This is a great pub/hotel. We’ve stayed here many times in the past the views from the rooms are great and the food that is served is always perfect. The staff can’t do enough for you.
We stayed in the lodges at the rear of the pub. They were lovely, quiet, clean & modern. Great pub, good food, nice bar & friendly staff. Very bike friendly as well.
Lovely pub with great staff and delicious food. Nicely appointed beer garden, perfect for a sunny evening!
Lovely food, good atmosphere. Dogs welcome in one area. The waitresses were lovely. Unfortunately, there was a till issue and our lunch didn't go through to the kitchen so we had a wait. We weren't offered any discount or free drinks but they did apologize a number of time. These things happen. Food
Great pub, lovely food, and a lovely location. Well worth a visit. We stayed in one of the lodges, which are lovely, would recommend that a mirror be placed near to a plug socket, we ended removing the full length mirror and using it propped up near the window. The shower room is brilliant, however
Great place to meet and eat with friends and family and enjoy the restaurant and outside spaces. Reasonably priced and good service.
2nd stay here, we were in the lodges thus time with our dog, another wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
Great Sunday carvery and they let us bring our dogs in!
Reasonable prices, my food was mouth watering! Lovely place and nice hospitality, recommended :)
We had such a lovely time staying in this pub as a group of four (a couple and two friends). They were so generous to give us an upgrade to a suite that happened to be free. It was a lovely apartment downstairs with two generous doubles, a spacious twin, and a huge living room opening to the garden.
We booked a table here as it was the closest pub serving meals to our venue. We were very pleased with everything. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. The food was excellent and arrived after an acceptable time for it to be freshly cooked. Real chips too!😊 The seating area is light and
