Absolutely smashing pub and the food is even better, I had a steak and chips with the best peppercorn sauce and my mum had a beef sandwich. Best steak I’ve had for a long time. The staff are very friendly. Looking forward to going again
Great pub with good menu. Our meal was delicious with the steak and ale pie being the best our husbands have eaten. So packed with beef and nice light pastry. Lovely quiet village setting with outdoor seating areas.

Went for lunch today - a bit worried, getting the last available place in the car park, but there was no need as there was plenty of room and a table was available.
A good range of drinks were available along with the choice of lunches, and they included a large choice of gluten-free options too.

Had a lovely evening meal here recently. Easy to book over the phone. Great menu choice. Nice chilled country pub decor. Friendly staff. Decent prices. Food was very tasty!
Just a wonderful traditional pub with good atmosphere, if ever back in area will return..
