As the owner I am critical to what is served but cannot fault the staff and their food prep and what they serve. I recommend 100% and the scones are fab!! Everything apart from the chips are hand made on the premises and all food which can be, is sourced locally as we support small businesses.

Great coffee and cake, highly recommend
Super place to visit for a spot of breakfast, lunch or just a snack. Wonderful home cooked food & lovely service from Hannah & the team xx
Lovely food had a fab hot chocolate, home made Victoria sandwich and warm cheddar and blue cheese scones yummy, will definitely be coming back x
Did somebody mention cake? Always lots ro choose from.
Staff were very patient with a big group of people turning up at different times. The food was lovely, in particular the chunky vegetable soup. My wife had the omelette which was just as tasty. Jacket spuds were great and the kids loved them. Fisher off with scone with jam and clotted cream. Top place. Good to have a wonder round the emporium afterwards
Had the best afternoon tea party with my lovely girlfriends. Jen and the whole Alberts team made us so welcome and it was a very special afternoon for all.
I’m not sure when but I believe this cafe is under new management as of maybe last year, but I’m not sure? Anyhow if you haven’t visited this place in a while, or since the new lady has taken over, then you really should give it another go. This cafe is great. There’s a good menu (which also caters for veggies) and it’s nicely situated through the cool antiques shop. The lady who works in the cafe is brilliant and seems unflappable despite the high volume of customers at times. Always warm and welcoming and her breakfasts are on point. The prices are very reasonable as well. Also, the veggie sausage rolls are ‘peng’!!! Keep up the good work Alberts!!!!!
Delicious homemade scones. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Lovely garden area to eat outside when the weather is warm
Lovely lunch today (tuna melt and cream tea) before matinée at the theatre. Will return when I'm next in the area; lots of other things I'd like to try.
Amazing full English, at a great price! Less than £10 for full English and coffee. Will definitely be back again.

We didn't use the cafe, but thoroughly enjoyed the antiques. Loads of stalls and friendly staff. Albert was very helpful and informative. Recommend!
Lovely tasty little cafe, locally sourced food and very relaxing and reasonable price. Lovely shop attached which was full of retro items

Very tasty breakfast and the sausage rolls are so delicious. Very friendly staff.
Hot tea, ordered poached egg on toast (GF bread) with bacon (not on the menu) no problems, arrived just as I wanted. And with extra bread because the GF was smaller than their usual bread. Fab food, brilliant service
