Stylish. Welcoming. Relaxing. They offer a mouth watering menu in a stylish, welcoming setting. If you are lucky with the weather like I was last night you can have your food/drinks delivered to their outdoor balcony and admire the spectacular views of the countryside and golf course I recommend the pan fried hake with sea vegetables and creamy lobster and prawn Mac 'n' cheese I must also recommend the pork belly with pork fat potatoes, scallops, apple crisps and black pudding purée I did have a bit of food envy when it came for my friend It was a really pleasant evening. Thank you for having us

A real hidden gem. Fantastic service and wonderful food. I could have happily eaten every item on the menu, the hardest part was choosing for each course. The view over the golf course was a fab setting for an autumn evening.

Went here for our weekly date night and were very pleased with the overall service and meal. The restaurant itself is very well decorated and clean. The menu was perfect as wasn't crammed with loads of options but all of the options on there sounded lovely. We were not disappointed with any of the food we chose as the meal was cooked superbly and very well presented. The only downside for me was that on a Thursday night there was only ourselves and one other couple dining. With the restaurant set up as it was it meant we really needed to whisper without feeling we were being loud. The service was perfectly fine and overall I would definitely recommend,.

The staff were polite and attentive. The atmosphere classy and calm. The food superb.... unusual tastes and textures together, just the correct amount on the plate to appreciate, and not too much to be overfaced. Surprisingly average prices. Will certainly go again.

We just popped in after watching Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat at Kilworth and found the whole experience brilliant. The food, the service and surroundings. Above the Golf club, The Attic has a large terrace and lovely furnishings. We started with a lovely selection of very tasty, just baked breads and generous portion of butter and oil. I had the pan seared mackeral for a starter, salmon, chorizo with fondant potatoes and veg for main and lemon meringue for desert....all extremely tasty and the service was spot on. My fiancé had the veg Wellington which was great. Two courses at £16 and three at £19 is great value. Thoroughly recommend and will be back to try the other dishes on the menu.

Mihai Dragomir is a fantastic chef, a great asset for the Attic! We had the tasting menu, as in a Michellin star rated restaurant, using great ingredients like duck brest, fresh fish , seaweed and otger amazing stuff, he managed to put together an amazing menu. Thank you!

We ate in the golf clubhouse - the actual restaurant is upstairs but wasn't open on the day of our visit. Nevertheless the food was excellent (out of the same kitchen) and the staff friendly. The weather wasn't great (wet and windy) but we have been there when the sun was shining and the views are good. Overall, good food in pleasant surroundings served by friendly staff. What's not to like?

We are frequent visitors of this awesome restaurant having literally been once a month for the last year and a half. What draws us back there each month,...... Well, quite a few things. Firstly, the place is in a nice location. It is not full of rowdy people and so it is a nice place to go for a quiet meal as a couple, with family or friends. Walk upstairs and the room is really nice and spacious and offers you the privacy if you want that, and the views of the golf course are spectacular both on a bright summers day or a cold frosty winters night. Paul is also a great host. As we have been there quite a lot now, he knows how we like things cooking. E.g. My steak. I don't like Blue, but rare is sometimes too cooked, and so 'Really Rare' is what we go for. Also, he always takes the mushrooms off the plate, as he knows that i don't eat them! - It is that personal touch that makes a massive difference. Then there is the food. The food is brilliant, tasty and different. We have never had a bad meal there - Seriously - NEVER. Most restaurants will do good starters and mains, but maybe fail on the desserts, or vice versa. Not here. Every course is a masterpiece. We have taken friends from London who frequently dine at Michelin Star restaurants, and they have commented that the food is comparable! We have taken friends, and family, and equally all have had a similar experience. This is now our 'Go to' Place. If we fancy a Sunday Lunch, this is where we go, a romantic meal, again this is where we go. A birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day, it is the place to go, and the prices are very very good value for money. A 3 course meal for 2 people cost us under £80 - I don't know of anywhere with such quality, costing so little. I could harp on all day about how nice this place is but I need to go to work!!
