The food and coffee are very tasty and the staff is very friendly and pays very good attention to detail. It's a great place for breakfast or just to pop in for a coffee.

The best place in the whole of Finchley - fresh food always with excellent service. My husband and I go there once a week. Love French Patisserie - The Opera Cake is my favourite and I don't have to go to France for one. Just take a walk to Joie De Vie and the cake is always fresh and of course delicious. Took my grand daughters (9 years old and 8 years old) there on Wednesday and they also loved the opera cake (they live in Lyon, France) and after two days they wanted to go back to Joie De Vie for more.....opera cake!!

Great pastries and proper tisanes. The financiers are very good as are the fruit tarts. Perfect for a pick me up. Only downside is that it is popular with the school run brigade who don't really do indoor voices.

Well, some pastries are too good, and others are too normal. I genuinely recommend lemon pie, wellbake pie, and salt croissant. I do not recommend almond croissants and red velvet. Coffee is great. Also, one thing that I found great it is that take away packages are well designed for the products.

Their mushroom and cheddar quiche is lovely! I recommend it. My husband ordered choux la creme and he's happy too. The atmosphere is nice. Overall, it's lovely boulangerie near home. It served halal food. Please check first with the waitress.

Very nice French bakery with nice cakes and crêpe. Tried tower ratatouille crêpe and it was lovely. I would definitely go back to try their sweet crêpe next time. I also want to try all other nice looking cakes! Staff members were all mine and I had a very good experience there.

My go to place for halal breakfast and brunch. Personal favourites are the tuna crepe, eggs florentine, French toasts and the pastries. Freshly squeezed orange juice is a must and a great selection of coffee with different choices of milk available. Staffs are friendly too! Love it 💕

3.75 stars. Probably the best place for breakfast / brunch in North Finchley, albeit not a high bar. Food was fine but took a while to arrive. Staff friendly. Had the quiche and omelette. Desserts I hear, and they looked, great but we didn't try

Its that one cup of coffee you need in the morning and their coffee just hits the spot. And add to it the delight of tasteful French delicacies.

Probably the best cafe in this area. Great range and excellent quality of sweet and savoury food. Well crafted coffee. Impeccable service and hygiene. Pleasant atmosphere with cosy but bright enough lighting. Eat in or take away.

Nice brunch and coffee in this cute boulangerie. We tried the dessert and the ferrerò roche was nice but the custard slice wasn't fresh(quite soggy)

This is a gem of a cafe , I cant believe I didnt come here sooner . I have walked past this coffee shop many times but never went in until a friend suggested we meet here. Lovely coffee, cakes are delicious not overly sweet, just right . I even took some home for my kids as I knew they would love them . Next time I will try something from their hot menu , my friend suggested the mushroom galette which sounds fab ! Definitely a place to go ! Staff are super friendly and accommodating!

Cosy French style café offering a wonderful variety of fresh cakes & bakes with in & outside seating. A warm inviting reception awaits as you enter. The choice of cakes can seem overwhelming but just an excuse to keep coming back to try them all! The coffee is strong (not as strong as in Bordeaux but still very good) and can be enjoyed with a savoury; quiche, salad, prefou, panini or even another cake! The Boulangerie offers fresh bread and provisions to take-away along with coffee and food to go. A must-go café with genuine owners who take pride in their work.

For the area it is pretty good. Had the French toast which was good but portion was a little too small - it wasn't that expensive at £6 though. The croissant is decent, as is the coffee/cappuccino, but don't think it is super memorable. Overall, a good choice in the area though.
