I treated a friend for his birthday to the half day spa package. We both had an AMAZING time!!! The setting is beautiful, quiet and remote; the staff were all so wonderful, very kind and friendly from reception, to the orangery and the spa!! The food in the orangery (which was included in the package) was absolutely delicious!! CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!!! Definitely going back soon! Thank you so so much for a fantastic experience!! ☺️

We came here with our two children for the play barn. Decided to take the bus which was easy and a 5 minute walk from the road to the play barn. Very slightly up hill, nothing too bad. Plenty of parking if you decide to drive. The play barn itself was amazing, the kids loved it. So many different things to do, not just your average soft play centre. Outside play area with 2 sand pits, swings, slide and more. Will happily go there again and again

Just spent the weekend there for family wedding. Excellent location beautiful views. Accommodation was perfect spotless and lovely wee welcome pack in the lodge. Spa was amazing and they were so great at changing our appointment a number of times due to changes in our days activity. Special thanks to Arlene for going above and beyond not only with bride and groom but helping all guests right up until our departure. Definitely go back .

Stopped by for some lunch. Freindly service a good tasting food. Ordered the tomato and lentil soup with a scone; mozzarella and pesto toastie and the kids hotdog with fries. All delivered quickly and very tasty. Lovely setting, went for a walk in the hills afterwards. Lovely venue.

We stopped at the Whitekirk Hill cafe after a morning at nearby North Berwick beach. We ordered lunch and we found the food to be delicious. We tried the Nachos with the works and an Onion Bhaji Burger. Fresh and tasty food. The service was quick and the staff quite friendly and helpful. Whitekirk Hill in East Lothian looks like a pleasant and interesting accomodations complex worth considering a stay there on a future occasion. I was particularly impressed with some of the artwork in the foyer. Highly recommended

Had a great experience at the Play Barn today. Two ten month old girls with their mums and two grandparents. Very impressed with the facilities, plus good coffees and tasty food. The young woman running things on her own did a marvellous job. Definitely recommended.

We visited for a walk and some brunch. There are a few walks around the grounds, colour coded and sign posted. I felt there could have been a few more signs as we nearly walked into a farm and ended up on Beckys strip for part of the walk. Great for dogs though. We went to The Orangery for brunch. Dogs made welcome. The service was quick and friendly. The breakfast rolls and eggs benedict were lovely. We will definitely return.

Came here for a run with my dog and got a coffee and bacon roll afterwards. The location is stunning! Panoramic views of East Lothian and beyond. Cafe well set up and dog friendly, but it was packed, so we had to sit outside. There was a patio heater and we were dressed for the outdoors so not a problem. Service was a bit slow, but they were busy (11am on a Sunday). Bacon and black pudding roll pretty tasty as was the coffee!

Came for brunch and the food was really nice and came quickly. Nice location with space for walking around outside after lunch. Big open space with nice plants and art. Friendly staff also. An egg and tattie scone breakfast roll is always a good measure of a place and this one was very good.

First time there! Service was great from the moment we arrived. We only had coffee's and cake, we all really enjoyed what we had. The staff were happy! Unusual these days. Most importantly for us it was dog friendly...

We spent the weekend in a Laidlaw Lodge for my friend's 40th last week and it was perfect from start to finish. The staff could not have been more accommodating on the lead up and during the weekend. A special shout out to the lovely Arlene who went above and beyond for us every time. She is the best! The lodges were great and equipped with everything we needed (beds were very comfortable, even the bunk!) The treatments at the spa were wonderful. We were taken great care of and it could not have gone any better. We had brunch at the Orangery which was lovely. Highly recommend!

We have just spent Christmas week in one of the larger lodges. A family of ten we have had a lovely time. The lodge was spotless and lovely and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked full Christmas dinner with no problem.
