Always go to north berwick fry n diner when in north berwick whether its take out or sit in the food is fabulous and the staff and owner very friendly
Been coming to North Berwick for 15+ years and this place is always a highlight. Friendly service and great food. Recently tried their pizzas and they are great. If having chips ask for ‘sauce’ - the secret to great chips. You will only find it in this general area of Scotland.
Great fish and chips. I appreciate the fact we came in late when you were closed and you still opened up the restaurant for us. The food was perfect. I will definitely be returning.

Great fresh cooked fish in a fine crisp batter ( apparently done by the batter queen). Fresh , hand prepared chips, cooked to crispy crunch, not oily. It's a long way from Hampshire, not sure delivery would get them to me warm, but would definitely call in again next time we are near. Shame about the road works outside, otherwise full 5 stars.
Had fish, chips and white pudding tonight after a long day's drive. Well battered fish, great chips and the very best white pudding all cooked freshly and perfectly.
Popped in here today with my family from Belgium. We had 4 fish and chips and bread. And drinks. This has to be the best of best when it comes to quality and quantity, and exceptional value for money. Dino is a legend. And his team always smiles. ThanX guy's.
Love the North Berwick Fry. I think it’s the place to go for fish and chips. The fish is lovely with crispy batter and the chips are also stunning. Big range of food on the menu. As long as I keep visiting North Berwick I will continue coming here.
I / we have been to lots of places and bought food from chip shops. I dont like waisting food. This is one chip shop I ate everything. A smoked sausage supper ang my girlfriend got chips and cheese. We both finished everything. When we got here, there were lots of people outside waiting to get served. I never seen anyone not finishing what they bought. Good food well cooked. I give it 10 out of 10. Enjoyed every bite. I dont think the seagulls got much from anybody lol lol
Popped down to North Berwick to treat our American visitors to experience of eating Fish and chips down by the harbour. I must say the fish and chips were excellent, up there with the best in Scotland. The Americans loved it an we will be back soon for more.
Stopped here for a takeaway then realised there was a sit in restaurant attached best decision
Had a fish tea. This is by far worth a visit if in the area
