Amazing experience, the staff is lovely, the food is delicious. Excellent value for money, as an Italian I can say that it is the best Michelin restaurant I have ever tried so far in the UK. Highly recommended!

Two night stay and one tasting menu meal in June 2023. Most delicious meal ever, a real treat! Breakfast also perfect.

An excellent restaurant with amazing and attentive staff and delicious food. Meadowsweet is a very small restaurant but with a great atmosphere. The food from their tasting menu is great and very innovative and worth the price tag. We had a varied selection from scallops, sea bass, lamb and the bread was excellent. Well worth it

The Meadowsweet offers sublime food, attentive and friendly service, with comfortable and well appointed rooms. What's on offer here is a showcase of great hospitality in all regards; they are clearly very worthy of a Michelin star. We very much look forward to visiting again and I would recommend this as one of the best places to dine and stay in Norfolk. I visited with my partner, for my birthday. We opted for the dine and stay, which was very reasonably priced. The food was all simply delicious; the roast hispi cabbage memorably so. The wine pairings were all good matches and a joy to drink. We were left feeling truly stuffed, so it was good to only have a short stagger up the stairs to bed. Breakfast was equally excellent, albeit we struggled to do it and the brilliant hospitality justice as we were still pretty full from the night before! It is worth noting that there is no parking on-site, but there is plenty nearby - there are a number of spaces at the end of Pound Close opposite the restaurant.

A more personal experience you could not wish for. When you normally eat in Michelin starred restaurants these days the service is good but so impersonal that this made a refreshing change with Rebecca and Greg chatting and serving everything themselves with the rest of the team. The flavour combinations complimented each other so well and from the canapés right through to the desserts the menu was well thought out and took you on a journey through locally sourced seasonal ingredients. With a menu that changes weekly if not daily this is definitely a restaurant you should visit as soon as you can. Lobster, cran, courgettes, local cheese, cider, pork and lots more to tickle your palate.

Our lunch at Meadowsweet was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long while. The front of house team were amazing. Helpful and friendly service. We really liked that the chefs brought out each course and explained what we were going to be eating. The menu was seasonal with the provenance of the food explained and where possible locally sourced. Beautifully and delicately cooked food, not too pretentious. I would most definitely go back again, hopefully getting a table will not become too difficult. Great job team, you smashed!

An extremely pleasant dining experience. Huge amounts of attention to detail not only in the food but with the overall guest experience. The dining room is a flurry of discreet activity in a restaurant which was full of very agreeable people! My wife made a booking here back in June for our anniversary dinner at the beginning of September. I'm not a big fan of all things fishy however they pulled out all the stops to prepare meaty alternatives. By no way was my meal the poor relation to what my wife ate. Stunning! Probably won't be too long before Meadowsweet is awarded a Michelin Star. Booking essential.

Exceptional food and service, most definitely worthy of a star. This is intimate fine dining with exceptional attention to detail and care. The chef created a special menu for my husband as he doesn't eat fish and he had some incredible alternatives. Wine pairings were superb and just accentuated the intensity of the brilliantly executed dishes. I was also impressed with how well balanced the wine list was, particularly in terms of price point. We left with memories of a wonderful meal (I really didn't want to leave), the team's attention to detail and personalised service made for a truly special evening.

Incredible dinner at Meadowsweet. The tasting menu was sublime as was the wine pairing menu matched with it. Each course was a masterclass in presentation, flavour and use of ingredients. Wonderful staff, service and ambience too. We stayed overnight with the dinner, bed and breakfast package and it was well worth it. Can't wait to return for another special occasion.

Meadowsweet is flying the flag for Norfolk! superb front of house & service by Rebecca & exceptional cheffing by Greg with a great team. They adapted the menu for a shellfish allergy. Delicious tasting menu & wine list perfect to pair with the food. The rooms are so calming & comfortable clean with attention to detail. It was so nice to stay. To finish our experience in the morning with breakfast excellent! A little Norfolk secret bursting with excitement & totally deserve winning a star!⭐️
