Lovely setting in the New Forest. Great food. Good size portions. Service a little slow during busy times.

Popped in on a Monday evening- no problem getting a table. Attentive, friendly, knowledgable server. Both had a starter, Garlic and Herb Mushrooms (nicely large portion!) absolutely delicious and Garlic, chilli & lime Prawns (in tapas dish with sautéed veg) beautiful 🤌 Main of Beer Battered Fish & Chips (home smashed peas were a delight & Fish was flaky and moist), Dirty Fries were a stonking large portion but worth every calorific mouthful of bacon, jalapeños & cheese. Friendly atmosphere, parking easy, outside seating available, forest surroundings, pea hens running around in front- whats not to love. Support a local pub and pop in for a delectable meal.

Amazing food. We really loved it. I had the bacon cheeseburger and my partner had turkey escalopes special. They came with fries and a coleslaw with rocket, which was frankly spectacular. The portions were huge, great value for money, and of superb taste. We also had the sticky toffee pudding desert with vanilla ice cream, and it was one of the best I have ever had in a pub. Finally, the owner was friendly and the staff checked in on us frequently, which is a great touch that a lot of other places are missing. We felt really welcome, and appreciated their care with regards to distancing and masks. Will 100% go back!

We camped 5 mins walk down the road from this pub and went both nights we were there. We went with our daughter and received a very nice welcome, had amazing service and delicious food. Good menu with classic pub options (plus child menu) as well as a specials board. Would definitely visit again

Brilliant evening celebrating a 30th birthday! I organised for my sister to have a surprise 30th birthday meal at The Lamb Inn-Nomansland. They allowed us to have a separate section of the pub to allow for decorations/cake, it was a spacious area away from other customers. They allowed us to put some decorations up as well as a table for the birthday cake. The service was superb and super quick, considering that there were fifteen people to serve. Everyone at the meal enjoyed their food and said how generous the portion sizes were. When it came to the cake, the staff assisted with giving us a cake knife and turned off the lights to sing happy birthday. Everyone had a brilliant evening and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to organise a celebration meal. Thank you to all of the staff for making my sisters birthday so special.

My family and I ventured out to the New Forest last Sunday for Sunday lunch and we were so glad The Lamb had space for 5 and a pup. Roast dinner was delicious and the service was excellent. All staff members were friendly and attentive, to my dog as well, getting water and treats. Have already recommended to friends and will continue to do so!

I ate here the other evening with my family. The food was delicious & the staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating. My son is a ceoliac, so we had lots of questions but all were answered quickly & accurately meaning he could enjoy a really lovely meal. One of the best he's had out.

Nice little cosy pub. The staff were polite and helpful. Food very nice and tasty. Just one little criticism I was looking forward to having crushed sautéed potatoes with my belly pork but when it arrived I had just boiled new potatoes 😔 having said that the pork was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Absolutely wonderful! The Lamb has been doing a beautiful job of catering to the community during this pandemic, with excellent food and a brilliant take away system. Today we had the most delicious roast beef Sunday lunch. I have never had such perfectly cooked beef. It was so soft you could cut it with your fork and tasted like heaven. All in all, my family and I have loved the Lamb since before this past year, but they have excelled during these hard times. They have wonderful gluten free options and are very happy to accommodate any dietary requirements if you ask, even if it isn't specifically listen on their menu. Would highly recommend!

Another nice forest pub, drinks wise it was much more reasonably priced than I thought it would be ! Have eaten here before and it was nice, we were so tempted to stay for food this time as everytime a plate went past us it looked and smelled amazing but unfortunately we were booked elsewhere....we will be back though 👍

A good drive from Oxford, we decided to go to Mudeford Query. After a good day, we wanted some food, and after visiting The Lamb on 2 other occasions, We have never been disappointed. It is a bit of a drive but worth it ! Great food, good beer, and very pleasant staff.

Just went for a drink, but everything was clean and inviting, we will go back for a meal soon as the menu looked very good. It's very easy to find and lots of available parking.

Me and my Fiancé visited the Lamb Inn tonight after driving past it a couple of times in the past. It was honestly the best food i’ve tasted in so long it was incredible! The portion sizes are humongous. The meal defeated me and i’ve never had that in my life. The staff there are so kind too it was such an amazing experience. We will definitely be back and we will be telling everyone we know about how great it was. Out this world!

Popped to the Lamb for dinner as it was open when much around locally on a Tuesday was shut. Well what a stroke of luck. Just up the road from where we were staying at the Green Hill site. Easy Parking just outside. We had a window seat so we could look out in the New forest ponies. Service was attentive, friendly and efficient. Nice pint or 3 of Timmy Taylor. Started with slow cooked pork belly in a cola and soy sauce which was proper tender. I then had the special moussaka which was really tasty, served with olive and cheese garlic bread. Too full for a pudding. It was all fairly priced and used quality ingredients. The kind of pub that I wished was back home so I could frequent it regularly.

After a walk on a frosty winters day the log fire was really appreciated. The docor is unusual. Food and service from the bar staff and servers excellent, catering for vegans, veggies and carnists. We almost left though due to the horrible, offensive attitude of the landlord to when discussing vegan options hence one star lost for service/atmosphere. Would go again but avoid the landlord.
