Booked a meal for 8 people last week and couldn't have been more impressed. The menu is very varied and has a lot of dishes which seem a little different, but make you want to try. Seems to have a lot of local seafood and meat on the menu too. Three of us ordered mackerel ravioli as we hadn't seen that anywhere before and it was delicious and unique. Special mention also to the lobster risotto, we were expecting a small amount of lobster mixed in with the risotto, and couldn't believe it when the dish came out with a full lobster on top! As well as plenty of mussels and calamari too. The Alumchine could definitely be the best place to eat in Pembrokeshire, the food is fantastic, you get good sized portions, the staff are super friendly and helpful and it's unbelievable value for the quality of the food on offer. I can't recommend this place enough!

Went here on a Saturday evening for a celebration dinner with three others and we loved it! Staff were all welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious! We tried a few of their specials for the day (mackerel starter and seafood risotto) and also their menu items - steak, chicken curry and seafood pasta dishes. They were all were really tasty and in generous portion sizes. Also the location is so pretty with great three aspect views across the river with seating both inside and out. Would definitely recommend and will be going back there again!

Absolutely amazing food. I had the seafood platter for starters, which was so delicious, then the seafood fettuccine - which was one of the most gorgeous dishes I’ve ever had in my life, thought I’d died and gone to heaven!!! The amount of mussels, calamari, prawns and longoustines.... a joy! Then the trio of desserts... panacotta, creme brûlée and tiramisu... again, absolutely gorgeous. Rounded the meal off with a latte. I have found my new favourite restaurant.

If the quality of the food continues to be as good as the meal I had this evening, then The Alumchine deserves to go from strength to strenght. Fantastic food, great beer and wonderful friendly service. I can't rate it highly enough

We decided to go down for lunch this afternoon to see what it was like; safe to say, we were all thoroughly impressed! The pizza was delicious and they were more than happy do it half and half so me and my sister could share it. Even my Nan said how lovely it was and she can be hard to impress, haha! The service was great and there is a fantastic view of the waterway. Really nice afternoon, I would highly recommend it for the food and view!

Absolutely amazing. I’m a vegan and their vegan option was gorgeous. The rest of my family thoroughly enjoyed their food too, and along with the view, the evening was amazing. (But roll on more vegan options).

The Alumchine in Nayland is an absolute delight! The restaurant's views of the Cleddau Estuary are breathtaking, making dining here a truly special experience. But it's not just the scenery that leaves an impression – the food is exceptional! From the first bite to the last, every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. To top it all off, the ambiance was elevated to another level by a talented saxophone player who performed during our meal. The soothing tunes created a wonderful atmosphere that complemented the delicious food perfectly. Moreover, the staff at The Alumchine were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Their warm and welcoming nature made us feel right at home, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. If you're looking for a restaurant with stunning views, delectable food, live music, and a friendly atmosphere, The Alumchine is the place to be. I can't recommend it enough – it truly exceeded all expectations!

Excellent meal at the Alumchine. Very welcoming and friendly. We had 2 dogs with us so popped in to check we could bring them in. Went for dinner on a very stormy autumn night. Food was fabulous. They had a curry on and the lamb balti was exceptional. Highly recommend this restaurant

Been waiting to come here for a while! Place hasn't changed since I visited it many many moons ago before it was alumchine. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Sat for our meal in the 'conservatory' area and watched the sun set which was lovely. Menu is plentiful and with specials 'board' brought to your table. Food was delicious. The bruschetta was especially delightful. Nice touch was the finger bowls to clean your fingers when tucking into the seafood platter and wings. My only critique is that the menu on the website and in house differ not only with dishes (slightly) but with price too. I personally look at costs when choosing a restaurant unfortunately my pennies are not never ending and in the cost of living crisis I think this should be addressed.

Lovely little place. Arrived around 1130 and was the only customer at first. Walked in to some nice chilled out music playing. The whole place felt super relaxed. The bartender was very friendly and she made me feel welcome. I chose, what seemed like, the cosiest chair in the restaurant. Enjoyed the view with a pint whilst waiting for the veggie burger to arrive. A very pleasant experience. Thank you 🙏

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. As a traveler to this beautiful city it was the first restaurant we ate at and Sion made us feel right at home and gave us wonderful recommendations not only for our food, but local activities and site seeing options. Would give it a 10 star if I could! Thank you Sion! Oh and they have a great selection of Gluten free options!

We were recommended by our air b and b owners while on a break in Milford Haven the location by the water, service from the friendly staff and food were great. With a variety of choice on the menu and excellent puddings will be back if we return to the area.

Great food with a good selection of vegan meals....some restaurants only do one vegan option, so that was nice to see. It is dog friendly too inside the restaurant but we chose to sit outside as it was a sunny day. It was just lovely watching the world go by and enjoying the lovely meal. Would highly recommend.

So good we visited twice in our one week holiday. Both experiences were different given the a couple of different seating areas. Food was stunning, nice bar selection and very pleasant staff.

Visited the restaurant for lunch. The food was nice we had the days specials which was seafood risotto which was lovely and the white fish was delicious, and we had a chicken pasta but the chicken was very dry other than that over all ut was nice and the prices were very reasonable. The view from inside the restaurant is lovely overlooking the water. Worth a visit
