Great to have somewhere like this in the town. An extensive menu means surely there must be something for everyone. The are plenty of sharing platters and great burger options too. The only minus, if there is one, is the scones are quite poor but the coffee is full bodied and staff are quite pleasant.
One rainy Friday morning we called in for coffee which was very nice and here's something fun and quirky to do. Try and get a seat below or facing the big world map and try to find the incorrect spelling of some countries. In the short time I was there I spotted 8 in total but you may find more.
Good hunting !

Bob and Berts is great. You know what you're going to get, We had lunch in the belfast branch last week and coffee in the Newtownards branch on Sunday.
Good coffee, non dairy options, good atmosphere and sensible prices.
All good!

A lovely breakfast with 2 of my grandsons. Service was quick and efficient even though it was quite busy. Food was delicious. Staff were welcoming and willing to cater for the needs of customers. An enjoyable experience. Wishing all the staff a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

Came in quite late and got a fry. It was really tasty. And even though I came in near closing time the staff was still happy to serve me.

Good food the only thing I would say is on entering the premises we went to a table a member of staff asked about ordering first funny that others in front of us done the same thing every time you go in it's usually the same situation there should be a sign at counter saying order food before you take your seat something to be addressed I think

Fantastic coffee shop, spacious and great for mums with prams! Excellent selection of teas, coffees, and other hot/cold drinks. Menu of food and a great range of traybakes, cakes and desserts! Well priced. Comfortable seating. Parking on street outside or around the corner in a pay and display car park.

Lovely food and ambience, easy to get a table service friendly and helpful and not too long a wait, clean tables and high chairs and no overly loud music. I enjoyed a really relaxing lunch with my girls. Only issue was a broken highchair harness and the toilets. The only customer toilets are in Menarys and up two flights of stairs, they are totally inaccessible and with such a lovely modern accessible coffee shop I was surprised that Menarys have not invested in this. No baby changing facilities, no disabled toilet and absolutely no access to the toilets except for these two flights of stairs when I had finally struggled with a pram change bag shopping a 4year old and a 9month old only one of the two cubicles was in service and not very clean. Loved the coffee shop but this is really a big issue and I must admit it has put me off visiting with my kids again.

Visited on Sunday and had the Hallion Burger which was out of this world! I've eaten lots of burgers in my time from some big chain restaurants and this burger was better than them all! I had just enough room to squeeze in some Mint Aero Cheesecake and a Peanut Butter Stack too. In case you're wondering, I was sharing desserts, I didn't eat two whole ones to myself although if space allowed I probably would have :)

Came here day for lunch with my mum and brother. All orders were wrong and staff was arguing they weren't, terrible experience also when the food finally came back all the plates and food were freezen. I'll not be back.

Love this place. Really good food, great selection, massive portions, reasonably priced. The staff here are always very friendly and helpful!

Went in today. Wasn't hugely busy. Standing in queue. Twice ignored and people who queue jumped me were served. Staff barely able to make eye contact, or even aware of who might be next. Needless to say, I and my partner left, taking our custom elsewhere.

I usually go to Knott's when in Ards but decided to try Bob & Bert's for a change. Found two lovely, comfortable arm chairs to sit on .... But what a disappointment the lunch turned out to be! Soup was verging from the lukewarm to cold category which I asked to be reheated .... No apology given. The two pieces of wheaten bread were hard & dry like cardboard .... Couldn't eat at all. Awaited tea but didn't come so asked waitress for it. Went on chatting to my friend & realised after 15 mins tea hadn't been served ... Girl laughed & said she forgot though she wasn't doing anything else!! On a positive note, a customer brought me a knife to carve through the wheaten bread. I always veer on positivity to encourage businesses. This is the first negative review that I have given to any restaurant so all in all very disappointing & I will not be back.

Huge shoutout to the manager Cat! Her friendly service and easy going attitude is so warming and lovely to come in to. She can’t do enough to make your visit amazing! Massive thanks for the food today! Mum and I absolutely loved it!

Lovely place but organisation seemed a wee bit manic.
The Philly sandwich is heavy going and might be a better experience if the steak was lots of thin slices rather than a one inch thick lump in the centre of the bread . Fries are great.
All in all , not a bad lunch. Next visit will be for breakfast.
