The server was amazing, unfortunately didn't get his name, we'll just call him The Legend for now. We went in for dinner and seen that the football match was on between Celta Vigo & Manchester United but none of the TV's were on in the restaurant. My Dad and I wanted to watch the match, we said to The Legend and he happily turned on the TV beside great seats, he had jokes about the match between serving us our meals and was a very polite fella. The food was beautiful, highly recommend the Sirloin. Give that server (The Legend) a medal. He had an accent not sure where he was from, so find him and give him that medal!
Treated myself tonight....didn't realise the upstairs restaurant was closed today...one waiter covering the restaurant and it was busy enough. ...however service was exceptional. .adman the waiter very professional indeed. Food was lovely. ...highly recommend the bureau
We just had a lovely breakfast at the bureau. Even though the breakfast menu wasn’t on yet they still whipped us up a breakfast and a mini breakfast for the kiddies. Lovely morning thank you.
Haven’t been in for a while but had a really beautiful meal yesterday, staff were very attentive and friendly. Could definitely recommend it !
Had dinner at the Bureau on Saturday night. Although it was packed with rugby fans when we arrived it quietened down once the match was over. The food was amazing as usual. My husbands chowder looked lovely and included mussels as well as fish. Chap who was our waiter is lovely and friendly and very attentive. One of my fav places to eat
Spent today watching the rugby, great atmosphere, the food was beautiful, as usual, and the staff are outstanding, they make the place, always so customer orientated and go out of their way to provide a great service every time. Thoroughly enjoy every visit to this place..
I have read some of the reviews. Don't understand them. We had a fantastic meal. The service was outstanding. A young lady ncalled Erin looked after us really well. The food was excellent. My husband had a steak and when I explained that he was allergic to mushrooms Erin said she would explain to the chef and ensure that the cooking plate was cleaned before his meal was cooked. I had chicken and ribs which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall it was a nice experience and I have no hesitation in recommending The Bureau to anyone
Bureau has some things I dont like - the current layout and the choice of beer being two. At the moment however the kitchen can do no wrong - we had lunch which was second to none. A high quality meal every bit as good as the last six or seven times Ive eaten here
As it was Friday steak night I got a ribeye steak for 19.99 and my wife a beef burger. They were both amazing, very filling and the chips were hand made and delicious.
I asked my ribeye rear, and for the first time in Ireland I had it rear! I was delighted about that. The pepper sauce was fantastic too.
We indulged for a sticky toffee pudding and wow, melting in your mouth.
Had a few drinks during the two rugby matches on Saturday night 24/9/23, ordered a snack called the ' bureau chip' which was delicious ,flavoured and dressed with Thai curry and diced crispy chicken pieces, it was amazing just how tasty this simple food was .
So tonight we'll try something else for dinner, the standard of food cooked in the bureau is now up at a very high level, try it if you don't believe me, complements to the chef and all staff, Uel
Was lovely sitting by the water sipping on a Guinness - the sound of the cars (at busy times) can be off-putting, but still is a nice place to relax. There are a few TV screens showing sports as well which is great. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, made sure that we were looked after. Prices are reasonable as well.
Really enjoyed eating here, food was amazing, there wasn't much of an atmosphere but it was fairly quiet when we were there. Service was amazing too. Would definitely recommend.
First time back in a long time and we really enjoyed our lunch. The ?owner? Manager ? is a really lovely guy who couldn't have been more helpful- the waitress got a few things wrong in our order and he swiftly corrected them. The food was delicious too especially my caesar salad- will definitely be back.
Had dinner last nite 10 pound deal on had honey chilly noodles liz had the burger both were great couldn't finish 😋 def worth a visit service was excellent 👌 I'll be back

Love love love this bar, the view over the water on a summers day whilst enjoying one of their very well made cocktails is heaven. The atmosphere with sporting events is electric and fun, and the food.....they have superb chefs. It's a must for anyone in the area.
Had a superb meal here last night , nice friendly staff , lovely presentation and one if the best Rib eye steaks I’ve ever had , food and drink prices are reasonable , highly recommended:-)
Got food of the bar menu as more to our taste as main menu a bit short on choice , but food was delicious especially the pulled pork nachos and the thai red curry

The best bar/restaurant in Newtownabbey in my opinion. Great food and friendly staff. There is a large selection of beers/spirits and an outdoor beer garden for when (if) the weather is good.
P.s add bacon to the burger, it's fantastic

Stopped in for a pint on the way to Belfast. £6 for a Pint of Peroni and it was delicious. Lovely spot
In for lunch & to watch rugby food was nice service good but wouldnt sell cocktails while rugby was on. I wanted a bramble was told could nt have one. Thats not good customer service.
Always a nice atmosphere with great service, and never had a bad meal.
