Nice Indian restaurant unfortunately I came late and was the only one there so no atmosphere other than some customers leaving complaining about a discount they didn't get but that doesn't matter as the food was amazing. I really enjoyed it, nicely presented and tasted authentic! I also had a discrepancy with my bill reference discount advertised but that was resolved so 5 stars given

Not quite the Chicken Handi I’m used to but me and my mate had a pretty good meal all round, rice, keema naan and popadoms were all 5 star imho and worthy of the 50% discount off main meals…

Bahar is one of my favourite "go-to" restaurants. I chanced upon them back in 2020 when I had driven up from Shrewsbury to spend the weekend with a friend in Newtown. We visited again after a gap of 2 years last weekend to celebrate the Mrs' birthday. The food was delicious as always, everything was fresh and brought us a lot of memories. The service was above and beyond from tanz and rahi. My toddler was very curious to have a look at the very visible kitchen and was over the moon when the chefs waved back at him as we left. And a huge thanks to the team for making my wife's birthday special with a delicious plate of ice cream kulfi. Amazing place and a must visit.
Stopped quite late to grab something to eat while still 2 hours from home, and ended up having one of the best Indian meals I've ever had.
Will be returning whenever we get the chance.
