The Sarn - Newtown - Photo album

A warm friendly welcome for me and my dog which means a lot! Lovely decor and a really delicious meal fresh and cooked to perfection with chic gormet touches accompanied by excellent wine. We will be back! I had lemon cooked salmon served with pea shoots, parsnip curls and fresh veg.
Fantastic owners, food, beer, wine and atmosphere. Recently been refurbished and we were lucky enough to be one of the first visitors. Very friendly owners and the staff were attentive and very helpful. Beautifully presented food and it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend the pork belly!!!
Such a lovely place to visit. Lovely food and staff. Theres a shop and mini nursery. Such a beautful business. Its such a lovely escape for the wife and I.
Lovely pub, great food and a brilliant owner who could not have been more accommodating to our group of 20. Highly recommend this place
Great, lovely staff and even better food
A lovely renovation. Very clean and homely atmosphere. Staff are polite..had Sunday lunch today I must say the creamed leaks and Yorkshire's were to die for! And could have had a pint of gravy to myself. Look forward to trying day time lunch menu
Had a wonderful meal here last night with friends. I’m always a bit of a challenge being Dairy & Gluten Free, but I can’t thank the staff at ‘The Sarn’ enough for accommodating me, they went out of their way to make my experience a memorable one, their food was delicious all cooked from fresh & not
This a welcoming pub/restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. They provide an a la carte menu with a fair choice of good quality dishes. To attract more frequent returning clientele they should perhaps consider offering some 'prix fixe' set menu options.
Nicely renovated, great beer, didn't get chance to have a meal, but menu looked tempting. Concept of a salad bar where you can buy, but not eat, is bound to bring in the curious. Looking forward to a return visit, but I must remember to bring a cushion to sit on.
Loved it. Called in on way back from the coast and what a good decision it was. Food was absolutely fantastic, great beer (Three Tuns pale ale), really nice friendly staff and they are dog friendly. Very clean and smart pub and I will definitely call in again when I'm next in the area.
Interesting new venture for this former pub. Now a restaurant and cafe and plant centre. Very well laid out, interesting menu (will be back to sample meals!), thoroughly enjoyed the excellent chocolate cake and pot of tea.
Excellent pub! We stumbled upon it when heading to Machynlleth and were really impressed; very friendly staff, amazing food and well priced/portioned. Would highly recommend.
Called in by chance when passing, has had a lovely renovation! Only had coffee and cake, both of which were lovely. Staff very friendly and chatty. Will deffinately go back to try food menu.
Fantastic little gem of a pub, great service, incredibly clean everywhere and a very tasty Sunday lunch and senible price, definitely be back
Went for Christmas lunch today. Absolutely beautiful. Food was piping hot! Staff very friendly and helpful. Will certainly be going there again! Thanks to all the staff.
A friendly pub and restaurant, open for lunch and dinner. Food is generally good quality and reasonably priced. There is a specific menu on Tuesday and Wednesday, available on the website. There is a small plant shop inside and a customer car park behind.
Great little village pub, lovely landlord and lady. Great asset for the village
Very nice Pub. I looked at buying the Lease. The Lease was a fair price but asking rent is not justified by the turnover. I would jump in if the rent was reduced in the first year.
