After a 10-mile walk and no particular enthusiasm to go out for a meal, it was a surprisingly wonderful visit to this place. Amazing food and very warm welcome by everyone and especially Leo, made it a perfect evening. Thanks.

We popped in while travelling through Newtown on a rainy, windy day and we were welcomed really warmly, even with 2 children, a baby and a dog 😂. Food was delicious and good portion size. Restaurant was clean and had a very nice atmosphere. Bathrooms impeccable, and smell pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would DEFINITELY recommend, it’s a real hidden gem.

What a find! Arrived here late on Friday evening and the owners couldn't have been more accommodating! Friendly, great food and drink, super garden for kids to play in, the Waggon has it all. We will return for sure if we ever are back in Newtown!
