Popped in this morning for breakfast rolls. We sat through in the dining room looking over the beautiful garden. Food delicious and young lady owner of the cafe was delightful. Will visit again when in Newtonmore. Highly recommend this wee gem of a place.
So friendly, relaxing. Lovely little gem of a place to visit. Try sitting upstairs at the back of the shop. Amazing xx
A delightful refreshment stop. Comfy sofas and chairs, with a relaxing garden area. Yesterday, the staff dealt with a very vocal, very rude 'gentleman'. They remained calm, polite and patient. I write this in case a malicious entry is put up .... and no, I am not related to the owners in any way, I am a happy, well-fed local who enjoys their hot coffee, amazing baking and warm welcome.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Very nicely decorated, and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back :)
Sehr lecker! Die Suppe war klasse.

Super fresh food. Sweet potatoes a must!
Had a delicious lunch with my sister yesterday. Would highly recommend a visit here to anyone passing through the village!
Have been for dinner the last two weeks & have absolutely loved our meals! Would highly recommend it.
Great food, excellent service. Perfect stop off after biking at Laggan, to refuel
A lovely warm welcome everytime you visit. Had many delicious lunches here.
Highly recommend stopping here for some lunch! Absolutely delicious. We got the flatbread and sweat potato dish which were both very flavoursome. Tad expensive we thought but tasty. All staff here are kind and welcoming. Stop by if you’re cycling or driving through.
Lovely cafe with friendly staff and comfortable seating - relax sitting in the sofas or sit at a table. Sit outside in the garden, weather permitting. I had a flat white and piece of carrot cake. Look for the cat in the window. One of 132 cats in Newtonmore.
We stopped here on our way back from Isle of Sky and had lunch in the little garden. Everything was amazing, although I had better shortbread millionaire in other places. I still really recommend it and you can even buy souvenirs at the shop. It’s also extremely cheap, less than 10£ per person!
Braw wee place to stop for lunch, friendly staff great menu choice, good value for money. Thank you
Love this little place. Just a few menu items, but executed really well! The Cullen skink is rich and smokey and the homemade bread is lovely. Head their way if you're after a breakfast bap!
Food is great here and the staff attentive. We enjoyed coffee and cake lunch. Enjoyed the art on the walls too. Will be back!
This is one of the loveliest places to go for a delicious dessert. They have a stunning garden area as well, very thoughtfully decorated. I loved the combination of colours. Amazing!
Rolled into Newtonmore for a mid afternoon lunch. There were only a couple of other diners at that time so we had the place to ourselves and didn't feel rushed. The food was great (I had the baked sweet potato) and the coffee selection / quality was really good too. The restroom was nice and clean and the staff friendly. Unfortunately it was too rainy to eat out in the garden. Lovely, friendly place.
Great little cafe on the main street. I can heartily recommend the haggis and cheese toasty with chutney... So yummy. On street parking available. Call for lunch and you won't be disappointed.
Stumbled across this gem of a place
Lovely food, friendly staff and tranquil atmosphere.
Wonderful from enty to exit, tables well set out, garden option which looks really nice coffee good cake exceptional thank ye
What a beautiful find! This quirky and friendly cafe was just perfect for a coffee and a bite to eat. You can't help but smile in this cafe, it's bright and beautiful colours make this cafe stand out for all the right reasons. Their homemade cakes were so tasty as well.
This is a dog friendly cafe too. Will definitely be back, it was a hit with the whole family 🙂
Dropped in for a coffee & cake, delicious!
Sorry I'd missed the lunch menu but the service & atmosphere was amazing. Lovely to see China teapots with proper cups and saucers. Well worth a visit.
Absolutely wonderful little cafe! We had Cullen skink served with a scone and hot chocolate, all of which were delicious and fresh. Staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Quite possibly the best cafe I have been to 😁

Went for coffee but place was great so we stayed little longer for lunch. Great for quick bite. Cullen skink I had was really nice and creamy. My wife enjoyed soup of the day.
Lovely coffee, nice staff and prompt service. We had bacon and egg rolls and the bacon was delicious and crispy.
Really nice wee cosy cafe.
Food was really nice.
We had the Cullen skink which was really tasty and a really good portion size. Toasties and a sandwich which were both lovely. She loved the fruity chutney on her cheese sandwich.
The youngsters that work here were a little loud and immature during our visit in the background. But our server was really nice when at the table.
Worth a visit for food. The garden at the back is really nice also.
This was a great find, with a lovely welcome from the staff and the food was well prepared and tasted really good.
