Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The place was lovely and quiet. The hosts were amazing and very helpful. I enjoyed my time there so much i am already looking at returning.
I stayed for 4 nights at Kirroughtree Country House. I treated myself to my own mini mindfulness and yoga retreat and I really enjoyed it, the perfect place to escape to. I highly recommend it. Ben and Lara are the owners and they are very friendly and extremely welcoming. I immediately felt at home. The room I stayed in was luxurious and the views were spectacular!! The location of Kirroughtree is really beautiful... so relaxing and quiet. I hope to be back again very soon. Thanks again!!!
An amazing place to stay in a beautiful setting. My wife and I spent three nights here on a mountain biking trip to the region in 2016. The staff are so nice, they made us feel so welcome. The food in the restaurant, although pricey was absolutely worth it. We would definitely recommend the hotel, and we will visit again as soon as we can.
A must visit place! It is luxury, beauty and history all in one. The new hosts, Ben and Laura, are simply amazing. They go out of their way to make sure you have a lovely, enjoyable and pampered time. This place isn't just for a romantic or quiet get away. You can have your business meetings there, a party or family reunion, a wedding, or for professionals to host a seminar or retreat. Plus, the rooms are HUGE and wonderfully relaxing. No matter what, Kirroughtree Country House has everything you will ever need or want. And...don't forget to say hello to Ben and Laura for me. I made friends for life!
Would highly recommend, lovely building with lots of character. Room was clean and well presented. Run by a friendly couple who go out of their way to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. We opted for the breakfast as well and weren't disappointed. Would certainly visit again if in the area.

It's oldie world but lovely. Friendly hosts did not have breakfast. It was very quiet and only one other guest was staying. Place to charge your batteries.
