The Beer Engine - Newton Saint Cyres - Photo album

I've probably reviewed the Beer Engine before, but it's worthy of a second A* rating. We wanted to take my mum out for a quality pub meal, so took the train from Dawlish up to Newton St Cyres on a Friday evening. As with previous visits, the owners and staff warmly welcomed us. From there on, in spi
Lovely pub with a nice cozy outside space and more downstairs for functions. Food is very good, would recommend the scotch egg to start with.
Cracking brewpub not far from Exeter. Railway station 1 minute walk away. Be careful though, it's a request stop. Large outside drinking area. Food available and a downstairs bar with tv for sports. A 'must do' pub when in the area.
Really lovely staff with a very warm welcome. The food was without a doubt faultless and well worth the price. Already recommended to friends and will be returning soon.
Lovely pub quiet very nice barman beer and ciders made on premises
Amazing little find. Staff are an absolute delight. The food was amazing and highly recommend the pork loin with the black pudding potato cake.
Spot On !. Good ales brewed on premises. Local ciders on tap. Friendly landlord knowledgable about his product. Spacious yet cosy. Large outdoor garden areas under "Tent" style roofs giving the outdoor experience. Some outdoor seating showing signs of age but to be expected in the UK Not 50m from t
The most lovely country pub, excellent home brewed ales. Staff are incredibly friendly but the food, omg just divine, would absolutely recommend. Even have the choice of sitting outside enjoying the gorgeous Devon countryside. Looking forward to my next visit already!!
Visited this evening and could not fault it, food, service and atmosphere was excellent, oh and the home brewed ale was fantastic... Thank you so much, can't wait to to visit again..
The beer engine excels at good tasty fare. With friendly and effective staff, & a wide selection of ales, this is a place to spend time at. All this is right next to a railway station so you may not have to drive.
Exceptionally good pub. Large rooms close to railway station. Own beers from brewery in basement, can't get fresher than that. Large food menu of starters and mains, of high quality. About £18 a head for very good lunch. Strongly recommended.
Excellent gastro pub. Brilliant service from staff and excellent food. I would say the best Ive had ever! Will be going again very soon.
