Came here on new years eve for a drink after a long walk. Very cosy little pub decorated lovely . Very christmasy. Lovely friendly staff . Will definitely remember this place on future visits to the area .

Lovely, friendly local pub with excellent Sunday Lunches. Found ourselves here unexpectedly and we're made very welcome. Will definitely be back.
Very warm, welcoming atmosphere. Clean and tidy and lots of hand sanitizer available. Staff very polite and pleasant. Food was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend a visit here!

Really friendly, traditional pub. We arrived just as the kitchen was closing yet the team went out of their way to provide us with a meal. Authentic and welcoming local vibe.

A small oasis with a warm welcome in the little village of Newton-on-Ouse. Real ales are kept on top form and the food is excellent and consistent. There is a specials board too for those wishing for a different epicurean adventure. Picture is across the road from the inn.
