We went as a mid week treat, if you are looking for a place to go for a lovely steak then this is the place to go.
The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Loved my food on my last visit and even booked my parents an anniversary meal where the staff were very kind and gave them an anniversary plate as well as wishing them the best. Great food and staff. I have also been to Edinburgh where it was not so welcoming.
Arrived 10 mins early for our booking but were shown straight to our table. Our server Saray was excellent. She paid attention to what we were saying and even picked up on it was our 1st Wedding Anniversary surprising us with a happy anniversary plate with our deserts. The food was outstanding. Have no reservations in recommending Miller & Carter in Newton Mearns for a delicious steak in a lovely setting with attentive none obtrusive staff
Our first time at M&C and we loved it, and the service was fantastic. Our food steaks were done perfectly, it was actually the best steak I had ever had. I never finish a meal, I did this time could have eaten my meal twice I enjoyed it so much. I’m already planning the next visit, we will be back.

We had an excellent meal cooked to perfection on Saturday night. Lovely place and the service was excellent. Couldn’t ask for more.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Definitely will be back again. Steak was delicious and bursting with flavour. Calamari starter was good and I liked the gold sprinkles on the brownie. Really enjoyed the beef dripping with the steak too!
Absolutely first class, me and my wife went and both had the surf and turf, fillet steak with lobster tail, steak cooked perfectly and would heavily recommend the lobster, delicious.
Restaurant itself for me is much better than the one in Glasgow city centre, it’s quieter and has a more relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a date night, will definitely be returning.
Went there quite few times now including yesterday, that was supposed to be our Christmas Dinner since we were working on a Christmas day, but sadly the festive menu was already finished.
Ordered chicken wings, calamari.
Mains were salmon, and sirloin steak.
Not bad experience. Had to wait for service for a little longer than normal, but in overall it wasn't bad experience

Our visit to Miller & Carter Newton Mearns to celebrate my upcoming birthday was fantastic. The atmosphere of the restaurant was intimate. Although there were other people who were dining at the same time as we were, their presence was almost unnoticeable. The staff were attentive, yet unobtrusive, and our meals were perfection!
What we did notice however, was the placement of an outside light, which appeared to be directly beneath one of the windows in the area we were dining in. This bright, white light was a complete contrast to the warm lighting used throughout the restaurant. It's not necessarily a negative, but it was the only thing I could think of in regards to what I think you can improve on, as the entire experience was flawless.
Had a couple of starters the buffalo wings and calamari both were very tasty followed by a fantastic Chateaubriand steak , waitress was very attentive and helpful, would recommend and return.big carpark very handy.
Really nice food. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. Our son broke a glass by accident - waiter was great with him and dealt with it very professionally. Lunch menu is good value for money. Would definitely go back.
Second visit to Miller and Carter Newton Mearns and it was throughly enjoyed. This venue has a much more chilled atmosphere in comparison to Glasgow which is where I normally go. The food was excellent and we were able to take advantage of the January set menu which was great value for money. We did opt for the 10oz filet mignon which was a £10 supplement each however it was worth it in my opinion. As always the staff are very attentive and were straight over if we needed another drink or to check everything was okay. Had a lovely afternoon and will definitely be back. Thank you!
We had a great experience in here on Saturday night. All of the food was lovely and came out quickly. Every member of staff we encountered was polite, friendly and helpful however our server Steven totally made our experience. Steven was friendly, attentive and he made a real effort to explain the menu and the choices of steak. He made us feel so welcome, we will definitely be back.

Went for lunch today with my wife for the first time at the Newton Mearns outlet. Ordered a few sides as a starter - bone marrow dish superb as was the mac n cheese. Followed this by the cotes de boeuf for 2 - such a great cut of beef, the mini salads, peppercorn sauce exceptionally good. We then finished off with a sticky toffee pudding - not bad, the vanilla ice cream was great though.
The gentleman who served us was professional, yet warm and friendly which made us feel welcome & relaxed.
Thank you to the chefs and front of house team, we had a lovely dining experience.
Absolutely amazing dinner! I would definitely recommend this M&C to anyone wanting a good priced, high quality steak meal, amongst smart, relaxing surroundings with a busy but not overpowering atmosphere.
Our waiter, Stu, was one of the most attentive and friendly waiters I've ever had in a restaurant. He was a credit to the place and nothing was too much trouble for him.
I had the 16oz Ribeye cooked rare, and it was by a long way the best steak I've ever had.
Really good food, the butcher's block is well worth the money. They definitely know how to cook a steak properly.
We had a large group in today. Honestly the food has been better but the service was really fantastic. From initial bar service to our main table server they were extremely professional and attentive. You should give them a raise!! If it wasn't for them creating such a fun experience it wouldn't have been so enjoyable. The guy on restaurant service with the beard is a true diamond!

We were so happy with our visit to the restaurant. A few of us have been to other Miller & Carter restaurants in the past, but never Newton Mearns, and some had never been to any Miller & Carter before. The food was cooked to perfection and our server was excellent. We noticed that the portion sizes are bigger than that of other restaurants which was great as well. We were out to celebrate my graduation and our server decorated my dessert plate with a congratulations message which was so lovely and thoughtful. He was very attentive and we were all really happy with him.

Last night 15 of us attended Miller & Carter in Newton Mearns for my 30th.
What a fabulous night! The service was incredible. Our server was Darren & he had us belly laughing the whole night.
Everyone loved their meal & there was no complaints.
