Fantastic food and lovely staff tonight cheers really sorry we had to race off during the meal due to family emergency
We decided to pop in at lunchtime and try the fish deal: 2 meals for £20. As always the food was delicous and the service impeccible. Love the black sheep cider on draft. Desserts were gorgous too. Highly Recommended.
This pub is just awesome.
The service was just fantastic, and the food was really really nice. The pub is set in a nice little area (with limited parking so be careful if you come on a busy night).
Belly pork was exceptional and the chicken burger was great too. Death by chocolate is recommended.

We visited the Hammer & Pincers for a Wedding and stayed the night in our camper. The Wedding day/night was fantastic, the staff worked extremely hard, were polite and professional and the camping area had everything we needed. We had planned to stay for Sunday lunch but unfortunately had to change
Recently visited, food was tasty and piping hot, large portions, service was good. A nice modern environment and clean. It would be best to reserve a table in advance or you probably won't get one, if dropping into the premises on the off chance of a table.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, the staff were great as we turned up late after kitchen had closed but they still managed to get us our food

The camp site is really good, there's a mix of hardstandings for caravans, some with water and drainage others with electric and some with neither, all the pitches seemed to be pretty level though. There's also a big grassy field for ten
Attended a Rock and Roll festival here outside in the Gazebo. Fantastic venue. Well organised with friendly staff and great atmosphere. 💃👍
Varied Lunch menu and specials board. Food and service excellent. Two rooms used at lunch time and in warm weather there is an outside seating are. Lovely warm fire during winter times. Parking in front and extended parking for events through gate.

Outside only for now due to Covid but the garden areas been done nicely. Parmo was delicious. Ben took good care of us. Food comes in cardboard boxes. Only complaint was that bench seat was wobbly. Good value for your money.

Lovely pub, really friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Food was good, only had starters cause didn't want full meal. Stayed in the campsite with a motorhome for 2 nights. Stayed at better but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights.
Group Christmas dinner, party of 12. Excellent service very organised and attentive staff. They managed several large parties effortlessly. No delays in each course arriving all served without delay. The food was excellent We couldn't have faulted anything about it and to achieve that for 12 people
