Always a bit calmer and nicer atmosphere than the big chain coffee shops in Newton Abbot. It's very spacious for wheelchair users and since all of the tables are different styles you can generally find one that suits your personal access needs. All of the staff are helpful and friendly! Disabled toilet to the back of the shop is used by everyone but generally pretty tidy.

I have several allergies and the staff were great at helping me figure out what was ok for me to have, I even managed to have a cake which never happens in non-vegan specialist coffee shops. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. I would score it 6* if I could. I don't like sausages and can't stand beans so asked to swap them for an egg and an extra rasher of bacon. The waitress didn't blink an eyelid, "of course" was her answer. Perfectly cooked, ie not greasy, good quality ingredients and they don't skimp on what they serve. The bacon was 2-3 mm thick and, as it was fried well, it was delicious.

Very cosy and welcoming coffee shop. Coffee#1 is located in Newton Abbottown centre. It is resumbly priced with a good selection of pastries and food Quite spacious and roomy, there is plenty of seating for everyone. Including more seating upstairs.

Lovely coffee shop in the middle of the town with a nice atmosphere. Great selection of coffee, tea, smoothies, juices frappes etc and a large selection of cakes and snacks. Lots of seating available as well including outside seats for when the weather is nice. Recommended!

Situated right in the centre of town, this popular meeting place serves various coffees, lattes, cappuccino, teas and hot and cold snacks, there is a variety of seating available from individual chairs to sofas, space is generous and you don't feel your sitting close next to other people, my only gripe is it's quite dark inside and the coffee goes cold quickly, there is outdoor seating for the brave and Hardy.

Shabby chic industrial loft ish design good selection of cheesecakes etc. Enjoyed a large cappuccino with a giant toasted teacake. Reasonable price and friendly service. No pressure on you to leave at all. Have been again since first visit.

I loved the coffees me and my other half had over here and the two cakes we had were to die for

Staff seemed to be trained to consistently make a good cup of coffee in all the branches. Sometimes the coffee art work is more of a smudge than a design if they are very busy. But the main thing is good tasting coffee beans and lovely creamy coffee coloured foam. Thumbs up for the cakes as well. Go upstairs for quietness.

Really lovely selection of good tasting coffee and very accommodating, knowledgeable staff. My partner doesn't drink coffee and enjoys many of their other options too! Hot chocolates, fruit smoothies, frappés! The actual building is nicely decorated too with lots of comfy chairs and plenty of space inside. All in all, a great place for coffee. You could say it's #1!

I can only attest to the drink I had, a mocha, but it was fantastic. Best place in Newton for a coffee.
