Really enjoyed this 'retro' experience. Retro in that I haven't been to a Toby Inn for a very long time and haven't seen the ornamental 'jugs' for even longer but this was a change. Really bug car park and easy access off the main road.

Asked on request to sit somewhere quiet when we booked but she put us in the most crowded place of the pub when the pub was really empty and no reserve signs on tables, but she did move us when I asked but it felt awkward once we had sat, just reading comments and taking them on board would be good

Had a great family meal. Friendly staff. The veg was a bit dried out when we arrived but spoke to the manager and a whole fresh veg was put out for us. Amazing all you have to do is ask.
