Dartmoor Halfway Inn - Newton Abbot - Photo album

Stopped off for a bite to eat. Had an extensive menu serving between 12 - 5pm. Food came out quickly and was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were polite and friendly. Plenty of room to sit inside and out for a Saturday afternoon. Our 3 year old was entertained for a while with the play area t
Been coming here for 30 years and love it. Originally owned by Barry who was a sharp guy. He started a camp site behind the pub which was developed over many years into a very popular place. He eventually sold and the new company failed after a little time (I was there at the camp site when it shut)
Very friendly atmosphere and good food. Service was pretty quick too. Ideally situated for meeting friends and lots of parking. The marking for the rooms is based on the public rooms, as I didn't stay there.
Great pub, good food. Good service. Rooms very nice indeed. Location very good too.

The Halfway Inn is a lovey pub in a wonderful location. We have visited several times in the past month. The staff are very friendly, attentive and great with kids. There is a small adventure playground which the kids really enjoyed.
