Tried this place for the first time on Saturday. The restaurant is in the oldest part of the building with its old stone walls, wooden beams and decor to suit. We took our friends from Portsmouth for meal on Friday lunchtime, everyone was very impressed with the food, service could have been a bit better as we had a long wait between courses, and the prices. A nice time was had by all.

We have our weekly office meetings here and they have ale in a barrel which is cracking! Lovely building and easy to find and get too. Never eaten here but the food smells incredible
Great local pub with good food and selection of beers and lagers , outside seating is very well laid out and a great view over Dartmoor. Well worth a visit if you are in the area of Newton abbot or Totnes.
Excellent service, friendly staff, comfortable surroundings and lovely food. Reasonable prices. We went for a ladies' lunch and couldn't fault any aspect of our time here. Would definitely go again and happy to highly recommend this lovely place.
Nice pub. With a good amount of drinks to choose from. I have had food there before which was great. I shall pop back some time soon.
We visited the pub twice within a week,great service from all the young staff.Debbie was great , she controlled the restaurant and bar , efficiently and was very friendly. Highly recommend,great food at fair prices . Desserts are a must.
