Yum! So unhealthy but addictive fast good and, I believe, locally sourced so not the worst fast food option ever! Try the Super Sauce. It has a cult following!
Our days shopping in Newry would never be complete if we didn't go in for our usual chips curry & tea before we get the bus to the train station. The staff are always so nice & the food hot.

Anytime I visit N.Ireland, the first food on my mind is always Friar Ticks. I never miss it! I have tried various menu’s and they’re up to a good takeaway standard. I like their coleslaw and signature gravy sauce. Looking forward to my next order.
Unbelievable food, got a chicken mix which costs £6.59 and it was definitely worth it, so tasty and filled me up. Defo would recommend anyone to try it.
Not as good & portions not as big as I remember from years ago but that may be rose tinted memory glasses. Coleslaw still great though.

Chicken gravy over chips with ice cold coslaw and 3 piece chicken on the bone with a nice cold coke 0. Delish the chicken gravy alone yum.

I'm from London and live in Belfast. Was in Newry for the afternoon. This place exceeded my expectations and made my trip much more enjoyable. Absolutely gorgeous! Will definitely get chicken fries with gravy sauce again. Best chicken shop of all times!
