Had a wonderful meal here with family. Booked a pod for 6, the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Helpful with orders and any requests. Very polite and friendly manner made for a great atmosphere. Came and took orders and checked in on us throughout our meal. Food was really tasty for all, had ordered various dishes from the menu all happy with what we had. Many empty plates!! Highly impressed with the service and staff, food was just as impressive and delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit… only note to make which isn’t to do with the restaurant but the toilets available are in the garden centre which aren’t the best and could do with improvements. However doesn’t take away from a lovely time had at the potting shed ☺️

Walked by the sign and were drawn in by the decent reviews. Set at the back of a garden centre and in nice surroundings. Coffees were good (Cappuccino, latte and baby chino) while Cornish Breakfast was your pretty standard fry up, tea cake was well ok and the avocado poached eggs were ok. All in all, a decent place to go with very little in walking distance but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return or visit.

Large veggie version of a full English 😋...as good as it looks... I will definitely be eating here again... 3 others sat with me all the food served was high quality... really good service, lovely lush green foliage and wooden industrial, well lit decor. What a find!

Lovely atmosphere, great food and helpful staff. Very nice surroundings. Particularly like the vegetarian chilli which you can eat with nachos or baked potatoes. Good family restaurant.

Food was really nice in the on-site cafe! Seated fast, order was taken quickly which was good. The food came fast and was really nice. Really good options as well. Extensive adult and child menu

We eat here whenever we visit the garden centre. The food is always nice. It’s not gourmet but it’s good honest grub. The portion sizes are good, except for the salad which was a bit meagre and as a ‘chicken Caesar’, we were hunting for the chicken. Other than that, the quiche is always good and the Buddha bowl is huge by comparison. The ice creams are nice and there’s always a selection of cakes. Nice coffee too! Service is always busy. The staff cope well considering they are always so busy at peak times. Once or twice they’ve forgotten things we’ve requested but honestly, they are doing a stellar job considering the pressure. Prices are about average for this type of cafe/restaurant.

I've been meaning to leave this review for the last few visits as this place is just lovely. Perfect atmosphere, friendly and quick service and the food.... omg if your looking for a really reeeally perfect burger and fries, this is the place. We have only ever eaten this on our 3 visits as we just can't get enough. The staff are what really makes this place work. Always friendly, smiling... just happy! It makes for a lovely relaxed restaurant/ cafe. The cake looks veeery scrummy too. All in all highly recommend The Potting Shed. We love it!!!! Thanks to the staff today 19/08 /23 Keisha and Craig from newquay 😊😊

Staff were helpful, seating area large & we were given an option of two tables which is great as a power chair user. There was a good selection of food & drink. We were served quickly & meals arrived freshly cooked in 10-15 minutes. Kids burger was quite large I would say. Would recommend any of the cakes, especially the brownies.
