The lobster lunch with a glass of fizz is amazing. Best lobster we have had in Cornwall by far. Great champagne options, especially the Billecart-Salmon rosé. The service was also excellent and unpretentious.

My boyfriend & I were visiting from London and can both say this is the best dining experience we have ever had! The food was incredible, service was efficient and a great atmosphere. Daniel & Tiago were so funny and kind, they really made the night! Great selection of wine and the food was delicious and high quality. Would come back again for the service if anything though !!

Really fantastic food and the most amazing views. Old school service with great knowledge of food and wine, very relaxed and simply a great place to be. This is our second visit and the first was equally as good.

Lunch What do you do on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Have a lobster lunch by the seafront, of course. How could we not visit this lovely little restaurant. Between lunch and dinner, they serve a small menu. We chose Guinness & treacle bread Noisette butter 5.5 Local lobster cooked over coals, "Nduja and basil butter Half lobster 30 Sides Koffman fries, malt vincgar mayo 5.5 Isle of wight tomato, shallot, chardonnay vinegar 5.5 It was absolutely delicious and filled a gap. The service was very good. We will have to return to try the full menu.

Beautiful setting, right on the edge of the beach looking out to sea. Food was lovely, perfectly cooked, well presented and tasty. Service between dishes was a little too slow. We also had a new waitress who was clearly struggling unfortunately. She couldn’t open a bottle of wine resulting in one of us having to do it; it was too painful to watch.

Been wanting to come here for a long time. Location and vibe even better than expected. Service and food top notch! Only wish it wasn’t a 5 hour drive for me 🤪

A decent fine-dining experience with good seafood dishes and in a cosy, relaxing setting. This restaurant serve 6-course tasting menu. We came at one of the early seatings - 6:30pm start. The whole experience took about 2h -2.5h. The restaurant has a nice and cosy decoration - plenty space between tables, so the conversation can be kept private. The food is prepared in an open kitchen, where guests can see the chef busy cooking and hear the notice of “service”. The food was tasty, but not very memorable. Some of the dishes were a bit too creative. For example, I’m not so sure whether tea works very well with fish. I think the tea flavour was a bit overwhelming to the trout dish that I cannot taste anything about the fish anymore. I think my favourite was the crab dish and the promise of Christmas dessert. It would add more to the experience if more information about the ingredients can be shared either by the waitress when they introduce the dishes or by the menu. I recently learnt about buckthorn being a superfood and there’s a local farm producing it here in Cornwall. I saw this ingredient used in the last dessert, but no more information was provided. It could be a very nice story to tell for people know little about this fruit. Overall, it was a good experience and will certainly consider coming back in our future visit to Cornwall.

The food was really spectacular here - a very special meal out. Each dish was so carefully prepared and they were all incredibly delicious - 8 courses in total for lunch. The staff were so friendly and knowledgable about the dishes, and nothing was rushed - it was relaxed and just so pleasant, especially with that view. We went for a very special, once a year, meal and were so glad we did. Highly recommend.

Our dinner at Emily Scott Food was the absolute highlight of our holiday in Cornwall. Of course the restaurant's location is stunning. Every table has a beautiful view of Watergate Bay, no matter where you sit. But Emily ticks all the boxes for a great dining experience. She puts so much love into every detail and you can see that not only in the styling of the restaurant, but also in every dish that is served. Each plate is like a painting and Emily's food is absolutely delicious. Seasonal with beatiful ingredients. The service is also very friendly and relaxed. My absolute number 1, can't recommend it enough.

Great food in lovely setting with good wine list. Service was on the slow side but we didn't mind as every course was delicious and well followed by the next. Perhaps check if you want more than one bottle of each wine as they kept running out of what we ordered. Definitely recommend. Set menu only priced at reasonable £75pp

What a fabulous meal. Service was excellent, with a perfect balance of attention and intuition from everyone. The food was absolutely outstanding. While we didn't have everything on the menu, we did try our utmost to do so! Everything was fantastic and what a view!! Very, very highly recommended.

Truly outstanding. The most beautiful setting, some of the best food I’ve ever had and excellent drinks. The dining room is fronted floor-ceiling entirely with glass windows / doors overlooking the magnificent beach. We were on one of the tables right by the windows and I’d suggest asking for one of these (or even better in the sort of conservatory which was only for larger tables) for the full experience. It’s also nicely decorated with pressed seaweed works from an artist in Fowey. We had elderflower martinis as an aperitif then the 2-course lunch. The salmon sashimi was top quality fish served in a simple but elegant soy sauce with yuzu. Salt cod frittatas were so flavoursome. I had cod for mains which was once again a light, delicately flavoured dish that allowed the quality of ingredients (the cherry tomatoes, for example) and cooking to do the talking. Nick had stone bass in a curry sauce which was also excellent, as were the fried potatoes and tender stem broccoli we had as sides. Both white wines were delicious (Vermentino then Chablis) and complemented the food perfectly. The Hungarian dessert wine I had was outrageously good. £100 a head when you add in coffees. At that quality we were happy to pay it.

A completely amazing experience. Food was incredible and the views over Watergate Bay go hand in hand with the choices on the menu. There to leave an impact! Staff were attentive and polite, the service great throughout. Considering this was only the fourth week being open, I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you!

A beautiful spot looking over the sea, lovely decor and friendly staff. My food was nicely made but starter and main were very very salty (and I like my food well seasoned - I carry salt in my purse!!!). I did give them the feedback. Highlights were the bread and cep butter, the Tonka bean white Russian and the wine (great wine list). Overall experience very nice but the saltiness and lack of balance on my dishes because of this was a problem and I could finish neither.

The December set lunch menu was delicious and the service excellent. Sorry we left you with so much sand to sweep up after walking on the beach before our visit.
