Can not recommend this place enough, hired the barn for my 30th birthday last night and it was the prefect venue, such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The staff couldn’t do enough and accommodated all our request, including reserved seating to watch the football. �
Definitely book this place if you want a chilled, gorgeous barn with very friendly staff.

Great service from all the staff for a golden wedding anniversary. All 14 of us had great food and the nutella and almond pizza slabs for dessert were amazing! Definitely recommend them, thanks Henry and a special mention to Sophie for looking after us. They were great all around from letting us bring some decorations and an anniversary cake to serving up an array of drinks and cocktails. Thank you for making our family celebration extra special.
Single handedly one of the best steaks I have ever had. Lovely staff, great menu. Wife loved her's as did our 4yr old. If in the area I would highly recommend. We will most certainly be back again and have already recommended to both friends and family.

Absolutely lovely place. Superb food, lovely staff and dog friendly. The setting is great and the pub/building is really well presented. As a family we have been coming to this part of cornwall for the last 5 years, wish we’d known about this place sooner!! �

I had an amazing surprise birthday breakfast here yesterday in the upstairs part. The venue was perfect and the waffle stack I had was delicious and an enormous portion.
My friends who organised it said you were great at letting them decorate, edit orders and made them feel really welcome.
The staff were really helpful and friendly.

We went for dinner last night for Mothers Day (after wanting to try here for ages) and all five of us loved it. The food was plentiful, delicious reasonably priced and was served in good time. As soon as we arrived we loved it!! It is such a stunning place with a quirky warm vibe. The food was delicious and we didnt have a long wait. The service was brilliant everyone was on form and couldnt do enough for you. I will be recommending this gem and we have planned to go again!
Another amazing meal with my two young children. We had the duck slab pizza which was soooo good. My girls finished off with campfire marshmallows which they loved. As usual, great food and great service

We had a small private wedding breakfast here on October 4th 2023. The whole place was closed just for us and they were so accommodating and the service was second to none. They even played our Spotify playlist for us so the bride and groom could have their first dance. It was a magical day, the food was INCREDIBLE (if you like pork scratchings, you wont regret getting it. See photo!) and James could not have been more helpful, polite and brilliant, his hospitality and kindness was very much appreciated. Thank you James and the team for making our special day even more memorable ❤️ We love you guys!

Had a surprise visit to the fox's revenge. Bring from Hereford we know what crazy food you can get with burgers... having the Beefy Boys in our midst.
I had the chilli burger which had great flavours. You could taste everything. Nothing was masked by another flavour. Had large slices of gherkins in the base. Lush pink beef patty with chilli mince, jalapeños and not sure if was cheese slice or cheese sauce as it was well melted. Came in a lovely black plastic and wide basket/bowl with a parchment like paper on the bottom. Fries were very crunchy which isn't always a bad thing... but watch out just in case 🤭
Hubby had the Ultimate Fox's burger. He would have that again so it was great. Pink patty with Belly pork which was MOST tender with lush crackling... very crisp. Belly pork had been slow cooked in a water bath which rendered it to an amazing softness, keeping all the flavours !! So... beef patty, Belly pork, mac n cheese, melty cheese and gherkins. Burgers are with a nice broiche bun. Had a side of maple coleslaw which was shared. Very nice !!!
Staff were lovely and friendly. Molly looked after us and she had the most amazing smile.
We can't see wheelchair accessibility but that's not to say there isn't any. The pub is not being used apart from the loo. You have steps to walk up to the shack.
We didn't smell of BBQ smoke. It's quite open !!

Oh my days!! This place is unreal! Inside is beautifully decorated with a wood burning fire. Seats are comfy, staff where lovely and friendly.
The food: UNREAL! Blue cheese stuffed olives, HELL YEAH!
We went for lunch and it was great quality food for just under £25.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Only thing I didn’t like was the amaretto mocktail as it tasted too artificial but that’s just personal preference.
Food at the smoke shack was spectacular, highly recommend the chicken gravy fries. Music was great, service was great, helpful staff. Only complaint is that they don't have more of these inland nearer London!
This is a pretty, cosy, 400 year old pub, nestled in the midst of a caravan park.
It serves great food made with local produce.
You can start your meal with a few nibbles or a small plate.
The portions are generous but it's worth saving room for a pudding.
Staff were friendly & attentive.
Their car park has an overflow area too so hopfully there'll be a free space for you to use
Its old, it has beer, and the food was amazing. Solid place to go for a great pub experience. Try the brisket pie, it comes in a small crisp crust sided by mash and mushed peas 🤌I also tried the crispy oyster, which at £5 was a bit much but still worth a go. Will go back here
I don't want everyone to know how great this place is... Seriously we had Sunday lunch and it was out of this world! Pub, staff, service, food all great, we'll be back soon.
This was without a shadow of doubt the best pub lunch we have ever had. The welcome is amazing, fortunately the weather was nice and everyone was sitting outside really well spaced on big pub style tables.
The food was excellent, we met James the head chef who looked after us really well. We had a huge selection of BBQ meats with amazing vegetable salads - superb.
Make a point of finding this place because it is off the beaten track next door to a camp site - we will definitely be going again as soon as possible!
The summer bbq was excellent in food quality and value. We shared the house platter, it was enough for lunch. The food was authentic, was told that the bbq master is actually from the south in USA. We have not gone there for sunday roast yet, so cannot comment on it. I look forward to them opening up again for the next season.

Great lunch at Fox’s Revenge. We tried the pulled pork bbq box and the smoky chicken bbq box. Very nice portion sizes. The children’s meals were good and they loved the waffles with brownies and ice cream.
I have never had a bad experience at foxes. The staff are amazing, the food is great. Highly recommend to everyone
It's expensive but so is everything down this side of the country. Food was good not amazing I found my meal ok rest of the family liked there's. We had the waffle for pudding that was great. We tried to return all week to have just that again. The sharps cold river cider was very nice too. Setting is ok if there was nothing else there but there's a lovely looking stone building that would have been nice to be eating in. Would visit again
Sunday roast here never miss. Always absolutely delicious and super friendly service - best roast in Cornwall!
Well worth the drive out of Newquay to find. Superb food, good wine list, great service, lovely setting. We will be back!

Amazing food, great atmosphere. Ordering via the app was quick and easy but a timer on there of some sort would be good to estimate how long it may take to arrive.
Toilets could do with a little dusting and dewebbing.
