Had an enjoyable meal at Victoria with really nice pizzas and cocktails. Prices were good for the quality of food. It was a very busy evening and some aspects were slow because of this but I see a company really trying a few more staff would help but something everyone is struggling with in Newquay right now. For us expecting this we had a lovely time with great food and drinks well done Victoria.

This is a nice little place.
Food was excellent.
The serving staff are attentive but seemed to prefer to give customers space to enjoy their meal. Friendly staff that were proactive.
The only reason I knocked off a star was because it is pricey for what it is.
Excellent meal pizzas were amazing spaghetti Bolognese and garlic bread lovely friendly staff couldn't do enough for us good with children.Traditonal Italian food cooked to perfection. Cocktails fab ,,
Definitely worth a visit
Great service and food. We were hesitant to visit this restaurant after looking at the reviews. However, we were surprised with how well the service was and the food delicious.
My partner and I ate at restaurant Victoria and were pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. Admittedly the menu was very limited as they were short staffed (assumed because of covid) and there was only one waiter serving the whole restaurant while running the cocktail bar. I was craving a carbonara which was not on the menu and the waiter had one made up especially, which was delicious. The restaurant is gorgeous and in a stunning location with sea views, with lovely accommodating staff. Would highly recommend.
We are at this venue on Friday eve and the food was stunning so we booked for the Saturday evening aswell...
The service was amazing and the food devine.
On the Friday we had cheese garlic pizza and mozzarella tomato basil salad (which was so fresh) for mains we had Penne Al Filetto and Tagliatelle Fantasia both dishes were well presented and tasted amazing the flavours and succulent meat were leaving us wanting more.
The way the cheese garlic pizza tasted on the Friday night made us think what the pizzas would taste like so we booked for our last evening to eat there again..... And AGAIN it did not dissapoints..... The pizzaa are hand-made fesh in front of the restaurant the flavours and freshness is hands down the best I have ever tried in a restaurant before....
Please please please check this place out...

Amazing, wood fire cooked pizzas. A little pricey but extremely tasty and filling. Recommend.
Had dinner together this evening and it was beautiful food - I had a pizza and my partner had pasta. The pasta was the best he’s ever had - and we’ve been to Rome and Milan among other places in Italy. House wine was average. But the drinks menu is very good and reasonably priced. So much variety.
I love this place and we will be back for lunch very soon.
The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Had I read the reviews prior to coming, I wouldn't have come. However glad that I did. The food was gorgeous, the location and view is great with outside eating a possibility, also prices are standard.
I do understand the reviews though as there were some..... Differences to what you'd usually expect in your usual restaurant. A lot of the food came out separately, some of it a good 10 to 15 minutes apart, there also seemed to be a huge disconnect between the serving staff, bar staff and kitchen staff. Drinks were coming to our table that we hadn't ordered, and were pretty sure the kitchen staff forgot half of our order. The music was turned on half way through and was so loud it turned the place into a nightclub. There were only three tables occupied at the time we were in, and the amount of mistakes that were made meant I dread to think how the staff would perform when busy. All in all though I enjoyed it, and if you can put up with the quirks and the inconvenient mistakes then it's a good little Italian.
The waitress is amazing she's got a skin head such an asset to the place food ain't all that but watching the fireworks between the Faulty Towers stereotypical Italian Manager/owner totally messing things up as wonder waitress valiantly tries to save the day from Iti Basil Faulty! Hilarious and worth the huge tip one should feel the need to slip over to long suffering staff....Bella!
We enjoyed a couple of meals here. The food was nice. We had Bolognese which my companion said was okay. The pizza were nice.
The staff were polite and helpful. The owner was there who interacted with us and our children. They accommodated our special requests.
Prices were pretty on par with everything else.
The Only thing I would point out was the toilet's were Up flights of stairs. So was a bit of a pain for my grandson who is 3 and need's to gi loo at least twice every meal.
Overall five star's given I would go back again.
