Fort Inn - Newquay - Photo album

The family and I went to The Fort Inn for a dual birthday dinner. We went at about 4pm. It wasn't too busy. The service was excellent. The food was lovely, and the views were outstanding. We had Hunter's Chicken, Katsu Burger, Scampi, and Fish and Chips. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely b
Only had drinks here but the views from the terrace are stunning over looking Newquay harbour and the beaches. A great place to while away a couple of hours in the sun.
Just AMAZING!! Not talking only about that amazing view, but the atmosphere is amazing, the staff super kind and friendly, the food was delicious (fish and chips) value for the money. And they have a playground what I think is really nice for the parents enjoy and the kids can be playing.
A must visit if you’re looking for somewhere with great food and amazing views when visiting Newquay. It’s very popular, so gets busy and there can be a wait at the bar, but that’s to be expected. They do allow you to reserve tables in advance, but we took a chance and found a table outside right o
We stopped at The Fort Inn for a drink while walking around Newquay. The pub was busy but still got served quickly. We sat outside overlooking the harbour and the beach. This is a beautiful spot on a nice sunny day. Plenty of tables and chairs with a good view out to the beach and harbour.
Food was excellent, huge portions, tasty and served in good time We visit the Fort every year and it's definitely improved from previous years. I still think the bar layout could be better, always queues of people not knowing who is next to be served, you don't queue long as the staff are efficient
Recently refurbished and is lovely inside and out. Great service, good food that comes out quickly. The view from this place is unbelievable. Lovely place to sit for an evening.
We came here whilst looking for somewhere with seaviews to have a late lunch. There are loads of seating with some of the seats outside having lovely views over the bay! The menu is vast with something for everyone, especially vegetarian and vegans. Had a veggie pie, which was delicious, and port
Lovely location, we sat outside and looked over the harbour. Service was on the slow side and tables didn't get cleared for ages. But overall it was a good experience and I'd definitely go again.
Food is lovely good size portion. My chicken was slightly cold but they were happy to swap it and were lovely about it. Been a Few times and only once I had to send my food back so overall fabulous with wonderful views
Spacious and welcoming, the Fort Inn has ample seating both inside and out on the large, two tiered terrace with amazing views of the Cornish coast east of Newquay. The food is, we were told excellent and fairly priced. Dog friendly, it is a wonderful place to enjoy a pint of Rattler after a day on
Love coming here when visiting Newquay. it's a great location with a great view. They have a soft play for children, which is a bonus and is free. It's dog friendly, staff are friendly and helpful and they have updated the place which is nice to see. The food is good there, but the menu is restricti
Found our new favourite place to eat in Cornwall! Staff are so efficient and the food comes out so quickly. They’re accommodating to dogs and it’s very spacious! Came here to eat 3 times throughout the week that we stayed in Cornwall and each different meal we tried was incredible!
Beautiful food, passive aggressive staff. The cheesy chips are gorgeous with a tasty lasagne. The ploughman’s is also a good shout. Staff appear stressed and morale seems low.
Fantastic views, good sized portions, friendly staff, lots of additional seating both inside and outside, we were surprised to have a choice of seats on a busy Saturday night, will definitely go back!
Went for Sunday dinner a few weeks ago. I had pork and my husband roast beef. Both enjoyed it, big plate of food for about £15 each. Help yourself to vegetables and roast potatoes. The only issue I had was that the food wasn't very hot and sitting outside it was cold quickly. Lovely surroundings, pl
Best fish & chips experience I have ever had. Also, the place has the fastest service and good food quality. The staff was always kind. The view was amazing.
The service was amazing, the food came quite quickly and was really nice and presented beautifully. The place itself is clean and just set out so brilliantly. Will definitely be back while we are still in Newquay. Dog and family friendly which is an added bonus for all.
The Fort Inn possesses a garden area that affords spectacular views across the bay towards Newquay. It is a good place for families with a traditional pub menu. The beer is St Austell as one might expect in Cornwall along with a couple of unmemorable local keg beers. They were from Harbour and Bath
