The chicken burger was delicious, but the real selling point of this place is the view. A beautiful introductory lunch in Newquay. The carvery on Sundays is also delicious.
A fantastic breakfast spot. The food is great, tasty and it is obvious that only the freshest produce is used. We also had supper there which was just as great. The staff are so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a nice spot for breakfast with a view of the ocean, then this is the spot for you.
Me and dad just had our first carvery here and it was absolutely cracking. We come in all the time but never tried. Beef was lovely and the root vegetable mash was amazing. Thumbs up to all staff including the chef
Popped in for dinner after being recommended by Concierge at the Victoria Hotel and was most definitely not disappointed. The moment we arrived the food service drinks standards and ambiance of the place is amazing.
The staff are all very friendly and very good at their jobs. All in all i would definitely recommend this bar. Next time in Newquay may stay in the attached Great Western Hotel as part of the same building. Well done guys keep up the great work.
Staff/security very welcoming. Food took roughly 25-30 minutes to arrive, i was ok with this. The steak was delicious and cooked well, fish was ok, chips very nice. Toilets clean and well stocked. Customer service good at the bar and at the table.
Really nice place for an Hotel Bar, Beer was a bit Iffy. They had a quiz in and then bingo. The locals loved it. Would pop in again but I would stick to the regular beers.

Lovely beer garden views and lovely drinks, only place I’ve found in Newquay that does mena dhu on tap and it’s amazing. Dropped a star due to glasses and food left on tables outside, we wanted to sit on a bench with a nice view but it had a high chair tray full of food on it, was still there when we we’re finishing our drinks. I can understand this in busy times but there was no wait at the bar. Other than that, lovely place for a drink, will definitely return.
Your fish and chips is some of the best pub fish and chips I’ve ever had. It was that good we had it two days running whilst on holiday.
We stayed at the hotel and spent a bit of time at the bar. The staff were very nice and the view is absolutely fantastic. Quiz night on Sunday was good fun and free to enter.

I have special dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble for the chefs. Food received was outstanding.

The restaurant is perfect if you want seaside views whilst you are dining. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and good portion sizes.
