Fabulous food cooked to your liking. The staff/owners are lovely and very accommodating - sometimes dont understand why the place is not heaving - really think the people of Newquay should try this place if they never have done - its authentic and a lovely place to eat.
This is the best indian food in newquay .we live local and won't go anywhere else .excellent food and excellent service .fully recommend.
The food here is really just great. Had a family party and we were looked after so very very well... even the Children were entertained by the staff... well worth a visit guys :)

Our favourite restaurant in Newquay. Tasty food & friendly staff.
Really good meal the girlfriend and l enjoyed it plus friendly service thank you. Will definitely be back when in Newquay again
On holiday from the West Midlands. Amazing flavours and staff are welcoming couldn't have asked for more. Thank you
Wonderful food, friendly staff, always call in when in Newquay on holiday, been going for years.
Nice friendly restaurant with a good selection of dishes at reasonable cost. Been using it for a few years now and have never been disappointed.
Love the food and amazing service.
Very nice food, excellent service very welcoming for us and our children.
This restaurant serves SUBLIME food in huge portions. My dad spilled a lot of his curry on the table and it was no problem, they took it in their stride. They're very amenable and don't rush you out of the door after eating.
This place is absolutely fantastic.. the staff are very friendly and the restaurant looked very smart and clean. They do a buffet here, but i tried the menu. The food here is incredibly tasty, and the portions are great. You will definitely leave here with your belly full. I definitely recommend this place, and if I'm in Newquay again, i will definitely be dining here again. Big thumbs up from me...
We had two meals here four days apart, both excellent. Starters and main course were generous, service friendly, bottled Cobra cold and prices reasonable. Flavour was rich with spices. Probably the best curry option I’ve found in Cornwall to date.
Been here at least 4 times when visiting Newquay over last few years or so. Nice service and staff. Lovely food always. Never disappoints. Will be here again 1st week Oct 2023. Will update.
We ate in Indian Summer twice recently. The menu was really varied, with quite a few items which we hadn't seen elsewhere, but everything we tried tasted really good!
Highly recommended!
Such a fabulous meal!!!! This is our second time visiting whilst on our holidays, the first time was last year. Food was absolutely delicious and tasty and the service was fantastic, fun and very welcoming!! Thank you again!!
We like currys and believe me I've tried many restaurants.......this is it, this is the best. Good attentive service and our curries were lovely. Will definitely visit again. Best curry we ever had. 👍
Been here a few times now, always busy so book in advance if possible, food is great & fresh. Will happily make a dish of your choice if not on their menu. Lal Toofan beer on draught & other bottled beers.
Friendly atmosphere, reasonably priced. Decent helpings of chutney trays too.
Give it a try.
Wow,
That's seriously some talented chiefs
Truly tasted South Indian absolutely on point being from Birmingham I've had over 50 from different places and this was almost the best I asked for garlic and there wasn't any if it had it would of been the best curry I've ever tasted
The customer service basic not really showing interest to new visitors
Shame massive potential
Absolute WOW.
I came in January this year and was very impressed. So I brought my family last night as we are all in Newquay for the week from Sheffield.
The chicken in my curry was So tender and full of flavour, I had a Chemelli wich I’ve never heard of before but took a chance on somthing new, Hands down the best curry I’ve EVER had in the country, I’m not even exaggerating. The flavours of garlic, tomtatoe, lemon, yogurt just popped off in my mouth.
I had to share some with my fiancée, dad, step brother just because I didn’t want them to miss out, they agreed it was the best curry on the table. They loved there’s also but the Chemelli was out of this world!
I also had a lamb pasanda wich was the perfect sweetness to savoury ratio.
Popadoms a plenty & the pickle tray was huge!!! lime pickle is my go to, but ya never seem to get enough anywhere else.
Also had a side of saag paneer wich was ok but no the best I’ve had could do with a tiny bit more flavour.
Pashwari Nan was gorgeous too, lots of filling!
The resident beer on tap was one I’ve never tried and complimented the whole curry.
WAS SOOO IMPRESSED. Very glad I chose to take my family here. Paid off, as everyone was full and content with their food and experience.
I felt like the wait for the food was 5-10 mins longer (I was hungry) but was totally worth the wait for a freshly made to order curry rather than one taken from a giant already made pot.
100% will be returning, service was really nice, waiter was funny and interactive. And the price for 5 adults was more than reasonable, I feel they could charge slightly more at peak season.
Thankyou! From THE RILEYS
I would consider myself as somewhat of a curry connoisseur. I have been eating restaurant & takeaway curries for around 35 years on a weekly basis. Sometimes several times a week and from all over the UK. It’s really hard to find a decent curry these days as most are looking to keep costs down which equates to poor quality ingredients, and not many spices used meaning less & less flavour. I’ve eaten curry in Indian & Sri Lanka on a daily basis and I can tell you the dish I have just eaten from this takeaway (Harri michi murgi) was spot on. The spicing was just right, the texture was spot on and most importantly it was seasoned well which most Indian restaurants/takeaways no longer do. This all resulted in an extremely delicious flavoured authentic curry dish. The nan bread was cooked just right (most other establishments don’t cook nan bread long enough). I understand that most restaurants/takeaways are struggling to survive at the moment, but cutting back on flavours and authentic dishes, will make people spend their hard earned money on other things. I’ve only had the one curry from here at the moment, but I was thrilled with the dish I had from this establishment. A few days earlier I had a curry from a well known award winning Indian establishment in Newquay and it was bland, not seasoned properly and hardly any spices used with undercooked soggy nan bread, and they are rated better than this establishment which is such a shame!. Please try this place if you are into your curry’s and know how they should taste. You won’t be disappointed. Best curry I’ve tasted for over a year and that equates to over 100 curry’s from all over the UK. Enjoy.
Really enjoyed the food, recommended. Did a walk in at 6.20pm. Book early or perhaps get there by 6.30pm otherwise was really busy. Staff were very busy, a little quick to remove plates when people were having a breather before finishing. We felt a little rushed out at the end as the 7.30pm booked tables were arriving. Not sure all tables are suitably distanced Sept 2020.
However there was no hand sanitizer to be seen, no track or trace mentioned.
Pricing about right
