The view is fantastic, the staff very friendly. We only had coffee and I can say that in the two years since we were in the UK the coffee has definitely improved. I would easily recommend this place. They have live lobsters and crabs in ponds as you come 8n, so if you like that sort of thing you can be assured of a fresh meal.

Been in Newquay for a couple of days and wasn't that impressed with the restaurants id found so far then I was told about the Boathouse. It was exactly what I was after, offering fresh locally caught fish at decent prices!! Wasn't disappointed the food was fantastic and staff very friendly, would definitely recommend!

A fabulous view of the harbour, attentive staff well versed in both the food and cocktails on the menu. The service is not rushed and the quality of the food is fantastic. A very busy restaurant so make sure you book a table in advance and you will not be disappointed.

Rocked up with my husband and 2 kiddies, although full inside they were happy to sit us outside. We both had the surf and turf, one with lobster and the other with prawns. Both meals were absolutely beautiful, the prawns and lobster were very tender and the prawns were very tasty. The steak was enormous! Well worth the price we paid. The lovely owners were serving us outside, what a wonderful couple of people and a special thank you to Nettie for her wonderful hospitality. We have been to Newquay numerous times and this is the first time we found this restaurant x Next time we come down, we will definitely visit again x

Excellent food and service in a great setting. There's something very relaxing about seeing the water slowly fill the docks whilst you're eating, we were also lucky enough to have two seals swimming around it. Seafood was excellent and I'd rate this restaurant better than Nathan Outlaw's The Mariners.

Great food and alfresco dining with a lovely view of the harbour Had the catch of the day which was hake with champ mash it was delicious. Equally so was the creme brûlée with summer fruits and shortcake yum. Spied the fruits de mer platter on the next table definitely going to try that next time The icing on the cake was being dog friendly

We arrived an hour early for our booking and so we were given a table right at the kitchen! Well I tell you it was entertaining watching that GORGEOUS food being served... we could take our time in choosing what we were going to eat and we could choose having seen what the dish looked like! I chose crab pate to start and my husband chose oysters! I was a little disappointed in my starter as I was hoping for chunky crab bits, it was very smooth (as I guess pate should be, but the taste was superb! My hubby loved the oysters! I had the surf and turf prawns for main, hubby had the spider crab.... and it was all superb! The service was excellent! We highly recommend this restaurant, and if we are ever back in Newquay, we would love to come back. 😊😊

Cathy and I turned up for lunch, we had the hake and champ. I'm a chef by trade and I can honestly say the fish was one of the best fillets of fish I have had. Superb.

Great concept for street food on the harbour with plenty of seating. Dog friendly. Steep climb down but worth it. Choice of fish, seafood, curry, burgers, pizza, and others from different pop-up vendors that you order from an app, and they bring it to your table. Burgers were particularly good. My 6 prawns in garlic butter cost £9.50 whereas the sky and pepper squid was a huge portion for the same price. Recommended for the ambience.

Awesome place. The location is amazing, right in the harbour. It was perfect for me and my wife to sit having a drink whilst the kids played on the beach. Great choice of food/drinks vendors and great vibes. You can order via the QR code and they bring it right over. Service was top notch. We'll definitely be back!

Brilliant little bar with loads of food choices. First off the table ordering from your phone (just scan the qr code) is the best I've used! It was simple, yet packed with information about the food and drink on offer. You can order from multiple vendors and the bar in one order which is great if your table all want different things. Really nice atmosphere, there's a little beach and the boat Dock to look out on while you're eating/drinking. At low tide they even supply benches if you wanted to sit on the beach instead of been up above. Dog friendly as normal. Was offered a bowl of water for the pup. The food was exceptional! Best smash burger I've had to date, well worth the price which all in all come to about £20-30 per head after a burger each & a few drinks. Very clean and the staff took pride in this, keeping both the seating area and the beach area clean and tidy.

We had a lovely dinner there! Order online with a QR code on the table, plenty of choices, I had fish and chips and some garlic prawns, really delicious. Quick service, friendly staff. Seemed very busy. There's toilets. It's a bit pricey, but it's right at the Harbor.

This place had a lovely vibe with loads of seating space! there were around 25 of yet we were still able to all sit together! the drinks were really nice and the cocktails were very tasty! I had a jerk chicken rice bowl from the Jamaican place and the meat was juicy and tasty! the rice was fresh as well so I really enjoyed my meal!! The coleslaw was confusingly spicy but it tasted nice. The staff were all really nice there too! Thank you!!

Beautiful place to sit and watch the tide come in or out. Great fresh looking menu for hot food including the expected crab, mussels, squid rings etc. Local ales and ciders on tap. We had a coffee from one of the vendors which at £3.20 for a Cappuccino, given the positioning, felt reasonable. Had 3 milkshakes and donuts from a different vendor (£5.50 each with donut) and didn't disappoint! £4.50 without donut. Sat watching seals play in the harbour and enjoyed ourselves. Would absolutely return every time we're in Newquay!

Absolutely LOVE this place! Second time we have visited as a family and cannot fault anything. We did have wings too but ate them too quickly for a photo! The oysters are the best I've ever had and the Sushi was AMAZING! Would recommend everyone to come here and can't wait to go back :) thank you!

OMG...this is such a fab place for food and drink in Newquay! With plenty of street food options, there is something for everyone here! From seafood, to burgers, pizzas, waffles, cocktails...the list goes on! We had the best afternoon at Newquay Harbour enjoying this venue! The waffles were incredible! You can order directly from your table and have your food and drink delivered, or go and place your own order with your table number. We will be returning!

This is exactly my kind of dining, sea view, live music, awesome beer, a relaxed casual atmosphere and absolutely awesome food, the 3 of us choose to share a few dishes over a prolonged period and that was a smart choice. Pepperoni Pizza was epic, Bao Buns, epic, kids fish and chips epic, katsu curry incredible and the burger was wicked. Our little girl had the doughnuts as a treat there were for her the star of the show. A visit here is a must. It’s incredible.

This was our first visit here and really enjoyed it. There was, unfortunately, a limited menu, but we were able order food and they had a great selection of drinks. It was lovely sitting outside with harbour views. Looking forward to returning another time.
