Highly recommend The Beach Hut for fabulous food and excellent service and the best location (at all the different times of the year that we’ve visited) and special thanks this time to the wonderful Keeley for being so spot on with her recommendations and the best attebtive service! Amazing place great spot for lunch this is the second time in a week we have eaten there. The mussels and nachos are yummmm �� and dog friendly too ��
We have been to The Beach Hut over 10 times in last 3 years. We were there twice last weekend. We have never received or witnessed anything other than first class service and food. Everyone is welcomed including children and dogs. Nothing is ever too much trouble and even dogs receive a fresh bowl of water on arrival after a run on the beach. We have introduced many friends to the TBH and they have all left saying they can't wait to come back. It is easily in my top 5 favourite venues for great service, fab food and overall friendliness of not only staff but other guests too. We happily travel 3 hours from Bristol to visit! This was my favourite place in the world 5 years ago when I last visited and I am pleased to say it still is. Atmosphere, amazing customer service (best in the bay!), great food and sunsets. Nadine was fab and I am looking forward to going back again this evening for my last night #creatingmemories

I love it at the Beach Hut. Food is fabulous and great views. Having been before and stayed at the hotel I know how great it is and how wonderful the staff are. But yesterday service was slow and our waiter was very attentive. He could have done better - we had to ask for dessert menus and had plates on our table for a while. BUT I love it and always can’t wait to go back.

Had a couple of hours off work and made a quick trip to watergate bay hadn’t planned on having lunch while out but so glad we did. We hadn’t booked but the staff were really helpful even though they had most tables pre booked. All meals looked and tasted fabulous we will definitely be back.

We were offered a great table, in the conservatory overlooking the beach, perfect start! We had mussels, and they were easily the best we’ve had, absolutely delicious. Fish of the day to follow which was really tasty. Service was super attentive and friendly, loved it. Can’t wait to come back next year. Thanks team!
We arrived almost an hour early for our lunch reservation partly owing to the weather, but it wasn’t a problem getting a table and we were sat in a window seat. Wow! What a spectacular view to have lunch. We found the menu quite limiting, but the food itself was very, very good. Tasty, hot and well presented. Perhaps a little over priced, but then you’re paying for the views as much as the food. The fish and chips were particularly good (although not the curry sauce, peas would have been better)! Desserts were expensive for what they were, we would pass on them next time. Overall a lovely lunch by the beach.
When I say this place has some absolute bangers in terms of vegan options, I am not joking. We ordered a couple of the starters and 4 dishes from the "tapas" part of the menu, and almost everything was just exceptional. A couple of things were a bit flat flavour wise, but taste is subjective and I'm quite sure others would love them, so I'm not throwing any shade on what was one of my favourite meals since going vegan 7 and a half years ago.
The service was lovely, the staff were helpful and extremely tolerant having 5 humans and 3 dogs at one table during lunch service, and the view of Watergate Bay while you're eating is divine. You'll find it hard to not want to grab a body board after your meal and hit the waves. Our non-vegan dining companions were equally happy with their food and experience and I can confirm we will definitely be returning. I highly recommend a visit.

Really nice place in stunning surroundings, we had a dog with us and she was made very welcome. Food was really good!! The only problem I had was that I kept asking for the windows to be open on the alfresco bit of the restaurant mainly for my dog cos it was like being in a greenhouse and I really wanted to stay longer and enjoy the desserts but it was just way too hot in there so decided it was best just to leave. Will definitely be back, just hope someone next time listens to us.
Lovely food and stunning views. Had delicious seafood stew. Slightly overpriced food and menu could do with a bit more choice. But overall well worth a visit.

Although the first time around ordering, my crab linguine was salty, the staff here quickly resolved the issue, and I really enjoyed my meal.
The veiw from where I was sat was stunning, and ordering was unique. Using the QR code was a bit tough at first, but I eventually understood.
If you have dogs, then there is a designated area where you and your dog can enjoy food and water.
Plus, WiFi, there is easy to set up!
Overall, the stay here was lovely and would recommend it to anyone who loves seafood!
can't really comment on the food as we just popped in for cake and tea (which were delicious). Sadly, the cake I wanted was out of stock, but my back up choice was lovely. Interior is warm and inviting, with big windows outlooking the beach. Dog friendly.
Great location!! Right right right on the beach. Had the burger which was good although lacking on fries in my opinion.
Mushroom chips were good if a little confusing, beer and cider delicious!
This was honestly one of the loveliest nights of my life. Yummy food, wonderful to see the sunset at the end of a hot August day, and an unexpected delight. Great staff, food and location. Can’t wait to come back.
