Our experience at the Portuguese was very good
Really very tasty food. we ordered Prawns , Clams , Salmon, Mussels & a dish with a large Prawn 🦐 with seafood mix rice
all of these were very delicious.

Fancied something different whilst on holidays in Newquay. This place does not stand out from the outside primarily due to the location, but get inside and it is very inviting. Seemed a bit short staffed and chaotic, but this somehow added to the ambiance. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. The

Had fantastic seafood and meat. Was lovely, tender, and delicious. Cocktails were lovely and the complementary dessert wine went down a treat. Service was fast and friendly, with the chef checking up on us during our meal.

We enjoyed sea bass and octopus very much and were well looked after. Since food took a bit longer we were offered complimentary delicious bread and garlic butter. We had sangria which was also amazing. Very friendly and polite staff and even got a surprise of live music. Would 100% recommend!
