Small and quaint!
Newquay has many coffee houses but this one stands out beyond all others. For such a small cafè it packs so much care and attention.
The coffee is fantastic consistently bringing a robust yet elegant flavour. A small but more than adequate menu brought together with excellent presentation really does put the icing on the cake.
The Box and Barber is an excellent coffee house and Restaurant. So good to see the young and talented Box brothers succeed in this business venture. A local hub of a beautiful space to eat food food and chat.
The best Acai bowls in Newquay. A true asset to Newquay.
Amazing food and lovely staff a stones throw from Fistral Beach. The fresh watermelon juice was delicious! �

Toasted Sourdough with marmalade and fresh ground coffee is the Best way to start your day in Newquay!

East London coffee, thankfully with Kernow service. Smiles and laughter with good coffee. Great food and good value. Best place to be. You can also see dogs so...yep.
We have had two fantastic lunches here. Excellent service, food and coffee with a great laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Had a lovely breakfast here yesterday, the food was cooked to perfection, the coffee delicious and my smoothie... wow. Atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were so helpful, answering all my questions with a smile! Highly recommended!

We were so happy to find this place. Thank you to everyone for providing us with such an awesome breakfast during our Newquay stay! The food & coffee has been excellent every morning. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be back again during our stay next year. Thanks again!
Friendly staff and atmosphere as well as an amazing breakfast! We could have easily had our breakfast at our hotel, but Box and Barber was just too good not to go again!
As a coffee addict I can firmly say this is the best coffee in Newquay. To add to that the customer service is very important and these tick every box. Officially my favourite hangout. Thank you
We wandered in because of how cute the cafe looked and because it has several vegetarian options. Overall, the food we ordered was really quite good.
There is plenty of seating space as well.
Ordered the box burrito, maverick burrito, Momo raspberry kombucha and a rise and shine smoothie. The burritos were excellent and the portion sizes are perfect for a lunch.
Beautiful cafe with really good looking food options. We had Avo slice with additional bacon and poached egg perfectly cooked and just what we need after surfing.
Very 'instagram' kinda cafe nice and bright, quickry/hippy vibes. A great little find. Nice healthy food choices :) Dog friendly.

Coffee here is bang bang - lovely flavour and well made . Food style is awesome , great flavours although my Maverick wrap was loaded with egg shell or grit on the spinach - ate what i could as had to get on the road. Would deffo return , awesome atmosphere too ✌🏻

First breakfast at Newquay after seeing some reviews via YT videos.
The lady at the counter was so nice and kind and really welcoming.
We opted for the pancakes and scrambled egg on toast. It was amazing, loved it!
Only bit of advice I’d give is - please provide more options for the pancake flavourings and secondly, please provide other breads other than the sourdough only for the bread. (I didn’t ask if there was any other bread so may be wrong here)
Overall, enjoyed it!

Great coffees and exceptional breakfast!
Breakfast top choice - breakfast burrito. Though avocado toast was also a hit. Loved it.
Coffees are amazing as well but a limited selection of alternative milk (soya, oat).
Lovely pastries - cinnamon bun, cardamom buns, etc
