Newport Tandoori made my night. With such a warming ambiance and welcoming staff, you definitely don’t want to miss it. My family and I ordered a total of 4 dishes and 2 sides. I personally ordered the veggie platter that was made vegan for me. I would most definitely recommend the cauliflower pakora as well as the samosas!!! These comfort foods really hit the spot. I've also gotten ubereats here and again, was not let down one bit. Can’t wait to visit again💖❤️

INCREDIBLE! First time dining here. We had great service, our host was friendly, warm and the restaurant has a cosy-inviting atmosphere. Really delicious food (with gluten free options). All the meat dishes we were super tender and full of flavour. Love the green spicy sauce accompanying entrees (WOW!). Great portion sizes. Will definitely be back again. Thank you Newport Tandoori team for a wonderful experience!! :)

This restaurant offers flavoursome food and plenty of less common dishes. Our incompetent waitress sadly took the shine off what could have been a wonderful night. We opted for the share-plate of mixed entrees and can recommend this. There’s great variety in flavour and texture. It was very enjoyable (and substantial). For mains we had the Bhindi, Narial Chicken and Nawabi chicken with plain rice and garlic naan. The Bhindi (okra) was pretty mildly flavoured and not in a rich tomato-base as we were expecting. It was a little uninspired. The chicken dishes were delicious and complex in flavour. The Narial was the pick—curry leaves a-plenty gave a rich, nutty flavour. The Nawabi was slightly sweeter with coconut and cashew. The garlic naan was also delicious. Our waitress somehow misheard ‘Nawabi chicken’ for ‘Mughlai Beef’. It’s hard to imagine how these two could have been mixed up. We pointed out the mistake and were offered to wait while they cooked the beef for us. We chose to accept what had been presented rather than waste it. We weren’t given a discount. Our waitress was also absent for much of the night—focused more on takeaway orders than dine-in guests. We waited 20mins to attract her attention to get the bill. She also hovered over me waiting for me to finish my entree so that she could take my plate. This was because she’d brought out the first of the mains before we were finished the entree. I expect better.

Enjoyed a great meal at Newport Tandoori, outstanding flavours, generous portion sizes and friendly staff! Every dish I would order again, right down to the naan bread! Happy to have found a new local for dinner.

Such a peaceful place, nice environment, delicious food and great customer service!!! Staff are really nice with their smiling face .. we enjoyed overall and our kids too.. would love to go there again !!!!!

I highly recommend this restaurant. Really nice take away Xmas Eve as we live just a few doors down. Great flavours, one of the best curry houses in the area.

Food is delicious and the delivery is always on time. Excellent service from the staff, the location is beautiful and easily accessible. Would highly recommend the place

This is probably one of the best indian restaurant i have ever been to. The service was very quick. They were very welcoming . And food was very very delicious.
