This aThisfternoon I had afternoon tea with friends. I was a bit unsure what to expect as I can't eat dairy but having let them know in advance they didn't disappoint. Sandwiches were full size ones, not tint crustless squares as is often the case and the fillings were also different, being tasty bacon and peppers and also roasted Mediterranean veg. My dessert was lovely little chocolate tarts and my favourite was the dairy free cheesecake! It was delicious. Highly recommended.

Wednesday evening visit and a few tables making an ok atmosphere. Quite a big dining area with a bar area for just drinks. Was cosy enough although it could have done with being a bit warmer. Had the Last Inn Ale which was quite good then ordered the risotto and chicken. Took a while to come but was worth the wait. Very nicely cooked and tasty with green beans. Good portion size but a price tag of £15.50. Not exactly value for money for some rice and chicken, but then again, what is? Spent about an hour in the venue. Although service was efficient it was standard. Could have done with a little more atmosphere, music, log fire, tv screen or something. I would visit again as it sounds like the Sunday dinner is an epic. Plenty of parking across the road. Clean restaurant with a contemporary feel. A Cross between Old style pub and modern restaurant. Still had a wonky table which made for 5 minutes of entertainment trying to balance it up.

My first time visiting and on a Sunday. The large roast was delicious with an added Yorkshire pudding. My partner had the half roast chicken and she said it was perfect. Excellent service, food came out fast. Lovely view of the Wrekin from the garden. We will definitley be coming back..

Lovely quiet pint in the sunset. Food looked great, but didn't eat there this time.

I went along for Sunday dinner with my brother who has mental health issues. I requested a corner table out of the way so as not to bring on an episode. The staff more than accommodated us and the whole Experience was wonderful. I would definitely recommend the Last Inn not only for food but for empathy x

Visited as a family for a late lunch on a Sunday. We were seated in the conservatory area, which was modern with chunky wooden tables. Although quiet, there was a nice atmosphere and staff were pleasant. We chose 2 large mixed meat roast dinners and 1 pork loin. All were tasty with a good selection of veg, although would have been better if the food had been hotter. Nice selection of desserts to finish.

Shared food after an event elsewhere. A table was laid out with a good selection of sandwiches and meat or vegan rolls served with players of French fries Followed by cakes and scones with coffee. Good selection of beers, I tasted the Last Inn ale before buying which was no trouble for the staff. Nice pint!

New to the area and my partner and myself are trying out the local eateries. The Last Inn ticks so many boxes - firstly of all the staff were super friendly and welcoming, the place was beautiful and cosy inside, and the food… our food was damn tasty. I ordered the southern fried burger and messy fries, a solid 7.5/10 (fries probably need some melted cheese to gain an extra few points 😉). So yeah, very impressed with it all, we will be back. Thanks.

We had a lovely meal here tonight. Food was delicious and service great too. I had chicken with cheese & chorizo wrapped in ham with dauphinoise potatoes which was fab. Hubby had the curry, also nice & our son had the southern fried chicken fillets with fries. These were delicious, slightly spicy for kids with a sensitive pallet but he loved them. Would highly recommend. Cappuccino creme brulee was really nice.

Really lovely place. We came in just before lunch finished so service was a little slow and there were a lot of things not on the menu. We'd gone for a family catch up though so the waiting didn't bother us at all and the waitress was nice and really accommodating. The food was really enjoyable and it was nice to have a few options for gluten free.

I booked for my daughters birthday, we all had the roast and it was outstanding... one recommendation, go for the pigs in blankets as an extra... you won't be disappointed ☺️
