Situated in a historic building next to the Church. I would recommend a visit. I love the personal touches, the quality and presentation of the food and the amazing window displays depicting IOW events. We went just after the IOW festival - hence the camping teddies.

Been here several times and the food is always delicious, tried the steak pie with roasted potatoes today which was lovely and the brownie cheesecake was one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten - also ordered the lemon merengue which both looked at tasted phenomenal! Always worth a visit and some fantastic history

I had a gorgeous date and walnut scone in my cream tea. Absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere in a traditional style tea shop. Had not been there for a while but it was just how I remembered it from when my children were young.

Lovely tea room, full of character and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Plenty to choose from on the menu, so much so that most of us ordered two dishes! The scones and loose leaf tea were fantastic, will definitely come back if we are in Newport again.

We had lunch there today as it was my sister's birthday. Lovely meals and, learning it was her birthday, her dessert came complete with candle and a rendition of Happy Birthday with no charge for it. Very personal service, thank you so much it made her day extra special.

We had previously eaten here and were very impressed. So this morning we skipped our prepaid breakfast at our hotel and went to eat here again. It was just as lovely as our first visit. The food is freshly cooked and the staff couldn't be nicer. The prices are very reasonable too. The place is quirky and even has a Christmas room upstairs! Highly recommended.

Superb value savoury tea with delicious cheese scone, butter, grated cheese and pickle plus pot of tea. Had even put table flags at half mast - touching. Friendly efficient service in pleasant rooms. Clean loo too.

Myself and my sister often pop in to this lovely tearoom when we are in Newport. We visited recently and were greeted by a very cheerful and friendly Robin ( the owner ) who asked if we would like to be seated in the Ghost Room or the Christmas Room. Even though it's mid October we both jumped at the chance to eat in the Christmas Room which had decorated tree, Father Christmas and decs with fairy lights and Christmas tunes playing. I'm usually a grinch but loved this, it even put me in the Christmas spirit for once. Our food was tasty and came to our table in good time and we couldn't resist dessert. The Pavlova and Lemon Meringue were divine. The building has a lot of history and it's interesting to learn where it got it's name from. Thanks Robin for the laughs you gave us on our visit and rest assured we will visit again soon.

Amazing. We always come here for breakfast when visiting the Isle of Wight. They do a lovely full English breakfast but the best thing by far is the setting and the atmosphere.

Wonderful old fashioned tea room with friendly waitresses. Best cup of tea we have had all week, with a hand knitted teacosy on the pot. Delicious cheese scone, fresh from the oven. The lemon meringue pie looked scrumptious. The lunch menu looked very appetising but we were only in Newport for the morning so didn't try it. A definite place to return to.

Absolutely beautiful breakfast, and lovely strong coffee. Both served piping hot. This is a quaint little tea room and very popular with both locals and tourists on the island. Once visited you will return

Having eaten here many years ago with my Mum, we decided to have lunch here. Myself, my Husband and Son really enjoyed the food. The service from when we sat down to when we left, was first class. Table cloths added a lovely touch, food was good and tasted lovely. Still the same friendly service I remember.
