Staff were friendly and were able to seat us without a booking, despite it being a busy weekend. We were tucked out of the way so had a buzzer for service. Food was very tasty, I had the beef brisket which was very tender with a tangy BBQ sauce. The side of frickles I ordered were also really good. The rest of our party enjoyed their food too. There was a good play area for the kids outside, including a toddler area.

Popped in on the way to catch the ferry home for a very late lunch. We were not disappointed the food was amazing. We didn't have time to have dessert but I took a photo of another's customers Eton Mess so if anything is bringing me back its the thought of ordering one of them. Stunning views over the bay from the gardens. Very child friendly. We sat outside but it looked just as nice inside. Look forward to coming back 🙌

Dinner - stunning views accompanied stunning food. 4 of us ate here and not a complaint for anything between us. Food was excellent, service was top notch and the visit will be remembered. Highly recommended.

10/10 would go everytime! Cannot fault this lovely pub, we went for a meal at lunchtime 4 of us. Easy to book online, or just give them a call (closed on mondays). The service was exceptional, the food was incredible, highly recommended the baked camembert for starter! Plated up beautifully.

I only wish I lived closer to this pub, my family and I had a wonderful meal from start to finish here. The service was quick, friendly and helpful. The food was divine, we tried the bao buns, I had the T-Bone steak which was perfectly cooked and came with 3 sauces. My wife had the poke bowl with lamb, my son had the filthy animal and my mum the belly pork. We all had desserts too. All I can say is we loved it and the location with a nice sunset and ambience.

Quite honestly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! The service from start to finish was amazing, they really make you feel looked after. The food, oh my! We had the Filthy Animals burgers and just wow! Everything about it was PERFECT!! I can't recommend this place enough and will be telling everyone it's a must to come and try! Also the play area and the view are another bonus when the kids can have a run around too! Thank you for restoring my faith in service and amazing food!

The Blacksmiths is a great restaurant for family or even a romantic meal. The menu has sufficient range to accommodate most tastes including a kids menu. The food was just perfect! Highly recommend the fish platter, special (if still available) and their pie! Portion size is spot on - had baked camembert for starter, fish platter special for main and was too full for pudding!! Price wise - not cheep but not extortionate. Dog wise - very welcome with blanket beds and treats. Kids wise - play park outside.

Third time to Blacksmiths and never disappointed !! We always take visitors to Osborne House then late lunch. Food was simply amazing 🤩 presentation and taste first class. We had recently been to Michelin restaurant on mainland and food was very poor. The the food at the Blacksmiths far superior- can’t praise enough. Well done to fantastic chef and pub team 👏👏👏

First time visit, thoroughly enjoyed the food! I personally basically made a custom meal which was catered to with no issues at all. Service could have been a little more prompt towards beginning however rest of evening flowed very well. Beautiful location! Gorgeous view of the sunset, great opportunity for photos. Definitely recommend visiting
